Kezia Dugdale Got Just 5,217 Votes 1642

The Labour Party is being remarkably coy about releasing the actual result of its Scottish accounting unit leadership election, giving only a percentage. The entirely complacent unionist media is complicit in what amounts to a deception. The stunning truth is that in a one person, one vote election among the entire membership of the Labour Party in Scotland plus trades union supporters, Dugdale won with 5,217 votes (out of a claimed electorate of 21,000, many of whom do not exist or could not be arsed to choose between two right wing numpties).

UPDATE: A second Labour figure just rang me to assure me my information – which was from a good source – is wrong. She would not give the actual figure and only said it was “higher”. I offered to take down the post and publish an accurate figure if she would give it, but this was declined.

Well, my request was a reasonable one……… What do you mean by “outsiders” and could you name a few of them

you are not all that good laddie are you? Google and find the answer and prove your points instead of sitting there and dancing on your tiptoes! Go find the answers, O ever lasting know it all and come back and tell us about your findings!

Mary over egging is not the phrase more in the league of Jackanory!

The motivational coaches of Daesh were motivating the would be “terrorist” (you realise this is yet another attempt to justify censorship of the internet and the espionage on the citizens of the European countries). The cool as a cucumber “terrorist” does not case the joint, but sits there and watches motivational videos to get himself worked up!

I feel sorry for the French! The poor French have witnessed their highest national honour has been reduced to a meaningless pile of manure by the simple act of their lard arse president presenting the US marines students with medals. Among those honoured included the fat Brit who arrived at the last minute and tagged the “terrorist” by saying;”you are it”!

    Who writes these press releases?

“What Proctor didn’t mention during his press conference, and what hasn’t thus far been reported, was that the police have asked him to volunteer a DNA sample, and Proctor refused to do so, saying that the police would have to arrest him first”
    ____________________________

Surely you of all people should approve of Proctor’s reaction?

After all, I would imagine that you would be the first on here to tell the police to get lost if they simply asked you for a DNA sample?

Thanks for that Link John Goss, good to know Caroline is offering an open issue by issue approach, even more, a pre election agenda and a Constitutional convention to debate democratic reform.
Despite having left the Green Party, not green policies, I still hold huge respect for Caroline, the real and undeniably important long term issues she has opened the House to.

A Convention would inform the public by debating what fair representative systems mean, that they cut through the adversarial tribal party politics of old. By combining the concerns of more than one party, more than just their very own voters concerns, with another party that has equally principled goals aiming for social justice and a green economic development, that want to see the financial system reformed, one represents a wider part of the population.

The doubters and self servers who want have nothing to do with representing more than just their own pals and voters, will try and divide such new accord, sow division and hatred of long term goals, unable to think beyond the tip of their toes.

P..s on gambling stock markets, I wish China would release all of their dollar options, and replaces it with its worth in cocoa/chocolate…. 1.6 trillion should focus minds.

far from it, proctor should be forced to provide a DNA record like any suspected criminal has to.

Any obstructive paedophiles, refusing to help the police with their enquirers, c/should be met with the kind of judge Dredd justice that is applied to migrants and asylum seekers.

The longer the police and courts spin out research and inquiries into suspects, pussy footing around with the safe dead and possibly mental, the more of the public will stop trusting them.
I want to hear who is investigated in the met, retired or not, many victims have mentioned the participation in the abuse by high ranking police officers, some mentioned that the police was actually delivering them into the hands of other abusers,

so any excusable behaviour and arguments here, can only be construed as one thing, as being part of this all encumbering collaborative cover up.

The rift is already there, and if this sort of policing carries on, this country will pan out like Ferguson. Some long term suspects might face justice of a public kind.

Women who are raped in this country have no chance of justice, so why should a suspected paedophile who is raped expect anything at all.

So it turns out that our “armed robber”, as some of you were very keen to describe him (those of you weren’t going for the ‘false-flag’ scenario), was carrying 270 bullets and a can of petrol for his planned robbery on board the Paris train.

    Hmmm.

I could also name some doctors I know who work at the al Shifa hospital.

    Experiences there last Summer.
Gaza: A Night at the Al-Shifa Hospital
MSF team members describe their experiences in Al-Shifa hospital amidst conflict in Gaza.

    July 22, 2014

At 8 a.m. on the morning of July 22, a Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) surgical team returned to an MSF office in Gaza after an overnight shift at Al-Shifa Hospital, in the center of Gaza City. Weary from a night of treating one wounded patient after another in the emergency department, they took a moment to describe what they’d just seen. “It’s going to be a busy night,” Alaa, an MSF driver, had said the prior evening, as Israeli tank fire and shelling reverberated in the distance and the team prepared to leave for Al-Shifa. He had been correct.

and some horrific photos which I wished I had not looked at. Warning. Those dear doctors were seeing such horror over weeks.

You are being economical with the truth again.

    Wikipedia says:

“The Minister of Health of the Palestinian National Authority (Abbreviation: MOH) position was established in 1994 and transformed into the Minister of Health of the State of Palestine, following the November 29, 2012 vote in the UN. Since 2007, an alternative Minister of Health of the Gaza Strip has also been operating in Gaza under Hamas governance. Dr. Hani Adbeen, the 9th Health Minister of the Palestinian Authority became the first Health Minister of the State of Palestine on December 2012.”

Why is an “alternate” Minister of Health been “operating in Gaza under Hamas governance”?

Because the writ of the Palestine Authority does not run in Gaza.

Thanks for the link to Saudi prince Waleed bidding for the 2000 year old Phoenician fertility Goddess.

It illustrates 2 things at once:

1/ that the Jews in iraq, who had descended from the Captivity in Habbakuk’s Nineveh were worshipping false idols, for which reason Jesus pbuh cursed them.

2/ The Saudi clan in 2015 are worshipping idols for which Allah curses them in the Qur’an.

The City of Melbourne in Australia has furnished an example of how well legislation by a body of citizens randomly selected can work: Experiment pays off: Melbourne People’s Panel produces quality policy: Citizen juries are one of the most promising innovations to emerge in the conversation about democratic renewal.:

Melbourne’s radical experiment in democracy has reached a momentous conclusion, with the City Council announcing on Friday it will accept nearly all the recommendations of a 10-year financial plan developed by a citizens’ jury. That a group of 43 randomly selected Melburnians meeting over six weekends developed sound policy that is now being implemented is a profound result for anyone despairing at the state of our democracy. And it invites the exciting question, what’s next?

    Now then, Anon1!

Everyone – even Israel-haters – have a right to demonstrate in the UK, which is democratic and free country – as they do, by the way, in the State of Israel which is also a democratic and free country. And as they do not in Arab countries, which have the habit of killing demonstrators in various ways or of making them disappear after they have demonstrate. I am sure that most of those attempting to demonstrate in Arab countries* would be happy if all they had to contend with was water-cannon.

Giyane; “The Trolls successfully changed the subject at 16.00 this afternoon.”

Indeed; Despite the recent setting out of Blog rules, which explicitly contained a prohibition on sock-puppetting, Habby posts of yesterday as Amos (which contain mainly sarcastic insults), are allowed to remain, with not even a word from the Mods, yet my post making light hearted fun of his sock-puppetting with the comment of “old habits die hard” has been removed. This is the sort of Gatekeeping that I keep mentioning, sly encouragement of the main attack troll, coupled with unjust censorship of dissenters, hope to dissuade & piss them off enough to leave.

The excuse of allowing this most blatant of trolls to keep derailing thread after thread because of Free Speech is at best disingenuous, as no other Blog would tolerant this; If Habby isn’t considered a troll then the word has no meaning.

  • RobG

Habba, I’m not accused of the rape *and murder* of children, but if such allegations were made against me, in order to prove that I was innocent I’d be quite happy to provide a DNA sample.

If I were guilty of such crimes, and under investigation for them, I would probably call a high profile press conference in London and accuse the police of a witch hunt, and threaten them with legal action if they continue to pursue the investigation; and I would be able to do this with the full support of a complicit mainstream media.

And people think that countries like Nigeria are corrupt…

  • Republicofscotland

“Never mind what you “thought”, Rob, just tell us whether you would not object to giving the police your DNA sample on simple request and in the absence of an arrest.”
    __________________________

Interesting point Habb, but at what point does such an action, of the state lead to more requirements from its citizens by its police force, under orders of its government.

Such actions would have to be condoned by the public in general otherwise said actions could be seen as a step towards a quasi-police state.

Of course under circumstance where the police suspect someone or a group of foul play, a DNA sample should be obtained without predijuce.

It is a controversial subject, drawing the line between anonymity and justice, there’s no straightforward answer.

  • lysias

The Irish Constitutional Convention which sat from 2012 to 2014 and which proposed the marriage equality amendment that was then adopted by popular referendum was another recent example of a randomly selected legislative body. It consisted of 100 members, a chairman, 36 members of the Irish parliament, 4 representatives of Northern Ireland parties, and 66 randomly selected citizens of Ireland.

Will Netanyahu be Arrested When he Arrives in London? Cameron “Says No”, War Criminals have “Complete Immunity”
    By Prof Michel Chossudovsky

    http://www.globalresearch.ca/will-netanyahu-to-be-arrested-when-he-arrives-in-london-cameron-says-no-war-criminals-have-complete-immunity/5470764

    ‘Comments

Prime Minister Cameron is totally ignorant regarding the tenets of international humanitarian law. Let us refresh his political mind:

“A major part of international humanitarian law is contained in the four Geneva Conventions of 1949. … The Conventions have been developed and supplemented by two further agreements: the Additional Protocols of 1977 relating to the protection of victims of armed conflicts.

Other agreements prohibit the use of certain weapons and military tactics and protect certain categories of people and goods.”

Also of relevance is Article 38 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, ratified and violated by Israel.

Amply documented and known to the British government, Israel is routinely involved in killing Palestinian children. The CRC Convention ”requires state parties (including Israel) to take “all feasible measures to ensure protection and care of children who are affected by an armed conflict.”

Prime Minister Cameron acknowledges the so-called “terrible toll”, a rather ambiguous term which in relation to Gaza (in plain English) consisted in deliberate acts of killing and destruction directed against civilians.

But then Cameron casually accuses the victims.

“Saddened by the violence” ordered and instigated by Netanyahu, who was, according to Cameron is rightfully ”defending Israel” within the “boundaries of international humanitarian law”.

Those boundaries have been broken. the Geneva Conventions are explicit in this regard: Israel has committed extensive crimes against humanity, and Britain is complicit:

International humanitarian law protects those who do not take part in the fighting, such as civilians and medical and religious military personnel. …

These categories of person are entitled to respect for their lives and for their physical and mental integrity. They also enjoy legal guarantees. They must be protected and treated humanely in all circumstances, with no adverse distinction.

More specifically: it is forbidden to kill or wound an enemy who surrenders or is unable to fight; the sick and wounded must be collected and cared for by the party in whose power they find themselves. Medical personnel, supplies, hospitals and ambulances must all be protected.

The Petition will soon be reaching 100,000 signatures. Will parliament accept to debate the issue?

Whatever the outcome, my advice to Netanyahu, think twice before coming to London.’

Speaking of pedophile politicians, this news has broken about U.S. Senator Bob Menendez of New JerseyL Sen. Robert Menendez may have had sex with underage hookers in Dominican Republic: prosecutors.

Menendez has long been strangely solicitous towards AIPAC, the Israel lobby in the U.S.

After he made it clear that he opposed the deal with Iran that the Obama administration was seeking, he was indicted a few months ago, on corruption charges. But the initial investigation was about the prostitutes, and now we find out more about those charges from the prosecutors.
