I had been spending the last few days living here in Avatime district while visiting Ghanaian friends nearby. Away from internet, TV and any other distraction, it has given me a chance to ponder what next to do with my life.
This has been a real problem. Have submitted Sikunder Burnes to the publishers, and while there is still editing and proofs, a huge amount of time is now free. My determination to dedicate myself to working for Scottish independence led to my comprehensive rejection by the SNP. This left me confused as to what I might usefully do with my life. I suppose the question I have been pondering is, what good am I?
I have come up with a potential answer, and will out it later this week.

‘In Parliament Mr Mann described the Dickens dossier as “intriguing to say the least”.
He said that a former deputy director of MI6, George Kennedy Young, was involved in a right-wing Conservative group which gathered details on alleged paedophiles within the Commons.
Young, also known as ‘GK’ who died in 1990, was not named as a paedophile but Mr Mann described him as a “manipulator” who had been involved in “dubious” political activities, including a campaign to set up a private army.
“We need to know why the file disappeared,” Mr Mann said in a Westminster Hall debate.’
‘Mr Mann has now handed a copy of the dossier to the police.’

Nelson writes that Commission sources say that the paper was buried by top EU officials under pressure from big chemical firms which use EDCs in toiletries, pesticides, plastics and cosmetics, despite an annual health cost that studies peg at hundreds of millions of euros.

I think you know exactly what I’m on about, hindsight, is a much lamented political weapon at Westminster especially when criticism applies.
However foresight seems to be in very short supply, when it comes to looking ahead to save British heavy industry.
Yes I think I am correct in saying that consecutive Westminster governments have let Britain’s heavy industries die out, whilst other similar sized nations, have invested in their’s such as South Korea and Norway, and they are now flourishing.
This slow strangulation of British craftmanship has been compounded by high energy costs, (something Westminster could’ve alleviated) leaving British workers at a disadvantage in the market place.
Yes we know it’s a globalised world, but not supporting your industries, preferring rather too buy in as they say, costs British jobs, which leads to high unemployment and a unskilled workforce, which in turn leads to a drain on taxes and a low wage economy.
Alas since Thatcher became PM, the emphasis has been on privatisation and profits, successive Labour and Tory governments have eroded the working man’s wages and rights in favour of big business, and its profits.
