BBC Bias 763

I am involved quite extensively in the making of what I believe to be a valuable independent documentary. It is based on George Ponsonby’s excellent book London Calling, and has the working title How the BBC Stole the Referendum. We have already done a few hours filming of my contribution.

The film is being directed by Alan Knight. It still requires some finance, having raised over £12,000 so far from crowd sourcing. If any readers of this blog can make a contribution, it would be gratefully received. I vouch for the good faith and commitment of the production team, though I am not in any sense connected with the management or finances.

I should like to ask for a couple of other bits of help as well. Can anybody find the BBC footage of the appalling Gavin Esler puff piece for the “Vote No Borders” PR campaign. The BBC broadcast it repeatedly on every TV news programme on 2 May 2014, but seem to have managed to erase all trace of it from the internet. It might also be useful if somebody could take a little video footage of the company nameplate of Acanchi Ltd at 24 Chiswell Street, London, EC2Y 4YX. Footage of the nameplate, the street sign and a little of the surroundings, just to visually establish it is in London. The technical quality of that little bit of video is not terrifically important.

UPDATE

See Gill R’s comment below. The company may be at Unit 311 Business Design Centre, 52 Upper Street, London N1 0QH. If anyone can easily get to either address and see what they can film it would still be helpful.

“You’ll be supporting Trump then, Anon1.”

No I’m not in America, Herbert.

Trump is trolling the liberal establishment in the US for laughs. The more outrage and indignation they express, and calls to ban him, the broader the smile across his face I should think. Most people have had enough Muslim immigration for the time being I’m afraid, and it doesn’t take a genius to tap into that while the entire media and political class and Herbert wet themselves at the mere thought of it.

1/10 there, RoS. Where did I say about “Islamophiobia” – be specific, now. And that site you enjoy so much and quote from (thereligionofpeace.com) IS a race-hating site.

Suhayl _is_ your better, own it. You seem to think I’m under some obligation not to point that out, amusingly enough! 🙂

“No I’m not in America, Herbert.”

Doesn’t matter where you are. Haven’t you even worked out that US policy impacts abroad.

“Trump is trolling the liberal establishment in the US for laughs.”

I don’t think so. His purpose is quite serious, and has little to do with the populism that appeals to muppets like yourself.

“Most people have had enough Muslim immigration for the time being I’m afraid”

People are fed up with immigration generally, because they blame it on their economic woes, not understanding that it’s a distraction from the economic choices their elites have made.

What Trump actually said is that he would halt muslim immigration whilst he tried to find out what the hell is going on.

It’s that “what the hell is going on” that alerts the more careful reader of geopolitical intrigue to what he can’t yet fully say about Western muslim proxies.

He’s not agreeing with simplicists like yourself who simply hate, but yes, he doesn’t mind the support.

A good idea that should be implimented in Britain.

The French National Assembly has passed a new law,
Under the new law, large supermarkets will be required to partner with local charities that can help distribute unsold food to consumers in need.

The proposal was earlier passed as part of another law in May this year but was annulled by France’s constitutional court due to procedural problems. It was reintroduced on Wednesday and was passed by the assembly unanimously.

Under the bill, grocery stores of more than 4,300 sq ft would have to sign contracts with local charities or food banks, and to start giving them unsold food items. It also includes fines of up to €75,000 ($83,000) or two years in jail for non-compliance.

The law follows a Change.org campaign launched by a politician, Arash Derambarsh, who is hoping to globalize his movement.

Socialist MP Guillaume Garot, who helped in framing the bill, told theTelegraph :

Today, when a supermarket like Carrefour finds even a tiny fault with a crate of its branded yogurts, it sends the whole batch back to the dairy producer, which is legally obliged to destroy the lot even if it is all of excellent quality. This is a very regular occurrence and we are talking about huge volumes – several million yogurts binned per year.

Today, the law makes it possible for manufacturers to give these yogurts to charities without even asking permission from supermarkets.

    RoS

Glenn really sucks up to SS doesn’t he?

Did you see him crawling up to him on the other thread apologising for his country and saying how embarrassed he was to be white and non-Muslim? Made me want to puke.

I shared a flat with a couple of these tossers in London once. Their right-on liberal arrogance was unbearable and, in Donald Trump manner, to alleviate the insufferable-ness of it all, I mentioned that the result of mass-immigration of Muslims to the UK might not be compatible with their precious liberal values, that it might also be detrimental to the future peaceful co-existence of the people of this country. One of them actually cried, I kid you not.

I think Glenn also weeps into his 20kg sack of lentils when he hears that Islam is not a peaceful religion of love and harmony.

As for that site you mention Glenn, it had interesting info, but you can check out the about if you want here:

    Your comment here:

But RoS’s reference is quite apt for a race-baiting intolerant bigot”

Was clearly aimed due to my comments of Muslim violence against other Muslins and faiths in Muslim countries, specific enough, as for betters the PC brigade will be disappointed, I’ll refrain from marking your effort, I don’t deal in halves scores.

    Herbert

Imagine something that could absorb the entire output of the Corbett Report, digest it neatly into one-line paragraph form, and promote itself as a world authority on geo-strategic affairs from its armchair.

    That’s you.

Why has there been mass immigration into the UK?

Was this polcy of muslim origin?

    Dealt with above.

Since the 1990s especially, but since 1944 more generally, US presidents have had much more impact on UK affairs than any UK PM.

Not surprised by your ignorance though.

About the only thing that remains constant in an ever changing world.

France24: French aircraft carrier to move to Gulf ‘in a few days’, says Hollande (Dec. 4, 2015):

The French aircraft carrier the Charles de Gaulle is to move into the Persian Gulf in a “few days” to take over a command role in air strikes against the Islamic State group, French President François Hollande said on Friday as he visited the ship.

Mysterious move, as the Persian Gulf is not closer to the territory of ISIS than the coast off Syria. It is in fact much farther away from the areas within Syrian borders that are controlled by ISIS.

What is also mysterious is how this move has not, to my knowledge, been reported in the media of English-speaking countries. (France24, although it is in English, is based in France.)

“The last few sparks from the embers of a dying fire…..soon there will be only ashes”

    A somewhat chilling statement.

But don’t worry, some of us are keeping a very close eye on the ‘Combat The Dingbats’ brigade.

Here’s footage of a big demo in Paris last Saturday, in reaction to the completely farcical climate change talks…

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-JGORms0hU

In the wake of the emergency powers that were rushed through after the Paris terror attacks, all demonstrations in France are now illegal. Anyone demonstrating can now face up to a year in jail, without a proper trial. Hollande & Co have extended these emergency powers for three months, and are now proposing that they be written permanently into French law.

The French people, of whatever political persuasion, will never tolerate this.

When the dingbats say “the embers are dying” they’ve got another think coming.

  • Phil

Lysias – Its a french aircraft carrier, im not sure how relevant to other countries it is……

God, this board is a real troll-fest, much like most other boards thesedays.

The Hill: Trump hits new high in poll:

Donald Trump has crossed the 40 percent threshold in a new national poll, giving the Republican presidential candidate the largest lead he’s held in any survey so far.

A Monmouth University poll released Monday found Trump taking 41 percent support and opening up a 27-point lead over the next closest contender ahead of Tuesday night’s Republican presidential debate in Las Vegas.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is a distant second place, taking 14 percent, followed by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) at 10 percent and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson at 9 percent.
The rest of the Republican field barely registers in the poll, with former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Ohio Gov. John Kasich taking 3 percent support each, and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, businesswoman Carly Fiorina, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) each taking 2 percent.

The poll was conducted between Dec. 10 and Dec. 13, in the days after Trump made his controversial call to ban Muslims from entering the United States.

Trump isn’t going away anytime soon.

I don’t know how anybody can put Farage in the same sentence as that mad corporate fat cat Trump. If that is the case then we better put Alex Salmond in there with Trump too, because Farage has a hell of a lot more in common with Salmon then with Trump.

    9/11 is The Litmus Test

<emThere is one thing that defines everyone over the course of these early years of this new century. That thing is the 9/11 attack. Everyone in government and every field of endeavor the world over is defined by their position on this event. It is not necessary to know the truth. It is only necessary to know the extent of the lies in order to define any leader in any position anywhere in the world. By what they have said and by what they have not said, one can accurately judge who is an enemy of the peoples of the world. One can accurately determine who is a tool of the psychopaths or one of them….

    More: http://www.smoking-mirrors.com/2008/02/911-is-litmus-test.html

(… while your host and his mods discourage any talk about 9/11 as “off-topic”)

How can 9/11 be “off-topic” when it’s the singular event that has changed the world these past dozen or so years? Perhaps CM will shed some light on that?

Anon1: “Did you see him crawling up to him on the other thread apologising for his country and saying how embarrassed he was to be white and non-Muslim? Made me want to puke.

Now now, Anon1 – you need to put things into context, if conversation is going to be honest.

A nazi scumbag skinhead was racially abusing a bunch of decent shop-owners – might have been you, actually – or perhaps you were driving and the skinhead was your mate Billy-boy? Anyway. That sort of thing makes me feel ashamed to be white at times. Just as with your clear racism – I don’t want to be associated with the likes of you, as another example.

Having no conscience yourself, this sort of shame of association is probably outside your capability. Some of the things men do to women makes me ashamed to be male sometimes too. Again, that’s outside your ability to comprehend, so don’t bother trying.

I’ve been travelling and just catching up with the blog.

I’m really sorry our most interesting and intelligent blogger (Mary) has apparently left.

If you’re reading this Mary don’t the Hasbara trolls win.

    @Glenn_uk, here’s your chance to prove you are different to ROS, by actually comprehending something by taking the following on board;

You state that I believe that certain posters are entirely above criticism:

Its obviously escaped your notice that yes, even with Mary I have had some disagreements, the last being over Tony Benn. Secondly, you also need to realise that you are projecting & being hypocritical, as I recall that you (along with the usual gang of loyalists) going beserk everytime I had the temerity to critictise the Dear Leader Craig, or even another of the Loyalists.

I don’t wish to engage in a rather pointless bickering exchange, so perhaps best leave it here, unless you have something worthwhile to add.

Glenn, You really should get over that. I know the feeing, but what does being white have to do with anything…
