Why are the Metropolitan Police not feeling Tory Lord Sebastian Coe’s collar and trawling his hard drives? I blogged recently about his involvement in awarding the World Athletics Championships without a vote to the hometown of his long term paymasters and sponsors, Nike. Plus the £12 million his promotions company made from VIP hospitality packages for the Olympics, the VIP tickets for which were allocated by the Organising Committee of which he was the £600,000 pa chairman.
Now we have this, from the person Coe works closest with in the IAAF and who he has now promoted to head the President’s office since Coe assumed that title:
« Dear Papa,
Following our discussion earlier I have already had some thoughts and believe that we need to do the following, in the strict confidence and control within a small circle of senior IAAF staff only. This must be very secret.
(…)4. Finally, as soon as possible, and ‘unofficially’ PR campaign to ensure that we avoid international media scandals related to the Moscow Championships especially in the British press, where the worst of the articles is coming from. This will require specialist PR skills (working only with me directly) from London, but I believe that if we consider using CSM we can also benefit from Seb’s political influence in the UK. It is in his personal interest to ensure that the Moscow World Champs is a success and that people do not think that the media of his own country are trying to destroy it. We can work extremely hard in stopping any planed ‘attack’ on Russia from the British press in the coming weeks.
5. Finally, I need to be able to sit down with the Anti-doping department and understand exactly what Russian ‘skeleton’ we have still in the cupboard regarding doping. I think that the time to have unveiled the various athletes was a long time ago and that now we need to be smart. These athletes, of course, should NOT be part of any Russian team for these World Championships and Valentin should be pressurised to make sure this is the case. If the guilty ones are not competing then we might as well wait until the event is over to announce them. Or we announce one or two BUT AT THE SAME TIME as athletes from other countries. Also we can prepare a special dossier on IAAF testing which will show that one of the reasons why these Russian athletes come up positive is that they get tested a lot !!! In the same way, we can make the point that the WADA laboratory is the responsibility of WADA not IAAF and that if WADA decides there really is a problem, we have a plan B to do the tests in Lausanne instead (Gabriel confirmed this to me yesterday).
Papa, as soon as I have an idea of the price of this unofficial PR campaign I will let you know, but I will do everything in my power to protect the IAAF and the President.
All the best Nick »
So what does the Establishment now wish us to believe?
a) As long-term Vice President of the IAAF, Coe had no idea the organisation was massively corrupt and the President was taking huge bribes to cover-up doping scandals.
b) Coe had no idea his close associate and now head of his office Nick Davies was writing to the son of the President proposing that Coe’s company and Coe’s “political influence” be used to keep doping scandals out of the British media.
c) Coe’s meeting, while Vice President of the IAAF, with executives of his sponsor Nike, to discuss awarding the World Athletics Championships to Eugene, had no bearing at all on the decision of the President of IAAF to award the games to Eugene without a vote.
All that is even less convincing than Sepp Blatter’s declarations of innocence. Yet there is an utter difference in the British media’s treatment of Blatter and of “Lord” Coe.
I wonder why?
John, you might have already seen this, so I’ll post it for anyone else interested. It’s quite a good piece about what’s been going on in the Ukraine, backed-up by authoritative links…

John Spencer-Davis,
If you are interested, I would recommend the Square & Compass near Swanage in Dorset – but you really should camp with loads of friends in one of the local fields. They have bands on too…but basically it is all about carving beautiful art work out of stone…The stone carving festival lasts about two weeks in the summer..

This bloke at work about 40 years ago – kind of invited me to be a Freemason..but he was a bit of a nutter. I know almost nothing about Freemasonary except they do good beer and Cornish Pasties.

Habba, whilst I’d be delighted to take government/tax payer’s money for you to have a jolly in France (money that will be used to put you lot on trial), you’ll find that people in my neck of the woods will be straining to have a ‘little chat’ with the likes of you.
I would suggest, instead, Israel or North Korea; which are about the only two places in the world where your kind will not be at risk of being lynched.
Yes thanks RobG. Eric Zeuss is a good journalist who gets most things right. Surprisingly the coup government’s ratings are worse than those of Yanukovich. There are regular demonstrations against the coup government. Many of those of conscription age have gone to live with relatives.
Eric Zeuss’ work on MH17 is very good. I wonder how long that inquiry will go on!
Hi, Tony,
Think that all the confusion in the Middle East wars is the result of everyone trying to satisfy everyone about everything, resulting in all kinds of contradiction, double-dealing and posturing.
No one wants to be scapegoated over what ultimately results, like in the ouster of Saddam.
I was really only pissed off with myself over the attempts to kill me, being too long, so naive about what was happening.
It was only because of my getting the message before it was finally too late, a good bit of luck, and my good health for my age that they didn’t succeed.
As for the Angkor Wat trip, I am going in a mini-bus with many family members, led by a nephew and his wife are very fluent in Thai and Laotian, so I shall be less concerned about myself than usual.
Hope you have a most Happy New Year as you deserve it.
John Goss,
Do you like Real Hard Heavy Rock music – or is the Folk Club more your thing?
Do I know you?
Where do you live?
You come across as a really nice highly intelligent bloke…maybe slightly crossing the political divide, as you gradually discover the truth.
I actually met Lemmy in The Marquee, Soho, London in 1983. He was playing the pinball machine at the back..and I waited until he had finished his game to say hi. He was a complete and utter Total Gentle man.
He died this week at the age of 70.

Well how typical, when RD is confronted with his past track record, he does a runner ! 😀
Despite the false bravado, it was also a sight to see the Habba-Clown panic & squirm when threaten with legal action, and his sense of relief at 5.04pm is so self-evident ! 😀
Meanwhile his tag-team partnership with Alcyone/Villager is as boring as fcuk, except for the occassional alternate impressions of Laurel/Hardy & Fred/Rose West !
Trowbridge H. Ford,
Thank you. Have a Great Time Sir in Cambodia
and a Happy New Year to You Too.
I have never actually been there (Thailand Yes), but my son has a few years ago…and he was cycling with his girlfriend around Angkor Wat (its an enormous place).
He was about 50 yards in front of her on his bike…and she had all her stuff in a basket on the front of her bike…Passport, Money and everything…
He heard her scream from behind as this motorbike came up and nicked her bag.
He dropped his bike and did a full body launch – into the motorbike..and sent the 2 thieves flying.
She got her bag back.

It was obvious from the beginning to anyone with any nouse that Mary was opting out of being bullied for health reasons, rather than taking umbrage. But nouse is what the trolls haven’t got.
Habba accused her of lying and of having an ulterior motive for going but his weird-cells ( no brain present) never prompted him to suggest that she might be suffering from ill-health.
And that about sums it up, I’m afraid. The numskulls who enjoy Zionist genocide of Muslims are never going to catch up with the details of the humans around them. You’re not going to get clones without hearts to sympathise with Craig stuff.
Macky, so you think fcuk is boring? Explains a lot.
Glyane what do you make of the latest executions by the Saudis?
“Well how typical, when RD is confronted with his past track record, he does a runner ! :D”
No – I just have better things to do than spend my time dealing with lying idiots, who just don’t have the intellectual capacity to support their accusations and then resort to further lies and bullying to cover up their inadequacies. I am more than willing to engage in real debate, but I know for a fact that none will be forthcoming from yourself – you are just a bile duct without any useful function.
except for the occassional alternate impressions of Laurel/Hardy & Fred/Rose West !
Perhaps the Gang of 12 might wish to clean up their own shit – rather than relying on others who are fed up of having to do so. Any psychologist will tell them that peer pressure is usually the most effective.
Alcyone what do you make of the latest executions by the Israelis?
“The numskulls who enjoy Zionist genocide of Muslims are never going to catch up with the details of the humans around them.”
Another cretin, another insult.
Glyane, ok so you don’t want to answer. That’s alright. I personally think all executions are deplorable.
RD
Not an insult directed at you, and it would not be necessary if its target, Habbabkuk now apologised for stalking and insulting people. You dish it out but you don’t like it up you , do you?
Its like a Scouser joke here at 22.22pm, I’m orf.

Quite frankly I have heard all the insults before and they don’t even register as flea bites – something that you would realise if you were smart enough. And Mary left in a huff because a rather sensible moderator decided not to publish some of her abuse.
Tony-Opmoc,
Folk yes, Rock ‘n’ Roll yes, not so much the heavy stuff, more Bill Haley and the Comets type of thing. God, how old am I? Yes, but I was only a boy when the green socks and drainpipe trousers were in fashion.
Sorry to learn about Lemmy.
I live in Birmingham.
Thanks for the kind words.

“What’s the Craft?
“What have you got to do with architects and masons?
“Why the curious gear and rituals?”
“I’m still interested in hearing your interpretation of The Craft, and what your organisation has to do with architects and stonemasons.”
“Anyway, I look forward to you telling me all about these architects and stonemasons, and their craft, and indeed why what you claim to be a “joke” outfit has such a long history, involving very prominent people in many nations.”
Why the curious gear and rituals?
Well, Freemasonry has been going quite a long time, and I think it is quite human and natural for any organization to become more and more structured as time passes. As I have said before, I think a good deal of it is more than likely due to the entertainment factor. What did people do before the telly? They channeled their creativity, and their money, and their social relations, into other things. “Gear” covers a very large multitude of things: the regalia, the architecture, the objects, interior design, and so on. You can always go and look at a Lodge if you like, there would be no problem with that, I am sure. “Rituals” likewise, including music. All are invested with a particular moral or allegorical significance. The moral significance of the rituals of Freemasonry is summarized in the Book of Constitutions of the United Grand Lodge of England, a public document.
I am not a scholar or historian of Freemasonry, but I get a sense, reading the various histories that are available, that what we have is something which had much more simple beginnings, and has been used to channel human artistic creativity for scores or possibly hundreds of years, and has therefore grown into something scintillatingly elaborate. I mean, we are told that the Holy Roman Catholic Church began with twelve men in a simple room. Look at it now.
To give an example, the practical purpose of the regalia is to denote rank. But there is much more to it than that. Different regalia can be used to designate different officers of the Lodge. Also, there are numerous appendant organizations to Freemasonry, such as the Royal Arch, or the Red Cross of Constantine. These all have their own regalia as well. There really isn’t any particular significance to all the different regalias except identification, like football club colours, or old school ties. It’s cute and beautiful to see, when everyone is dressed in their full regalia, like elaborate peacocks (and pretty ludicrous at the same time, as I said. But none of us mind that.)
Kind regards,
John

Alcyone, let me remind you of an execution in 2015
“On her way home, Farkhunda stopped by the Shah-e Du Shamshira shrine, in the centre of Kabul. She said her prayers and then got into an argument about the selling of charms – little scraps of paper bearing Koranic verses.
Farkhunda regarded these as superstitious and un-Islamic. She was trying to make this point to the caretaker at the shrine, Zain-ul-Din, when he began shouting: “This woman is an American and she has burned the Koran!”
So when is he going to apologise?
I don’t agree with Paul Craig Roberts about everything, but this is a pretty good take on things…

Never give up the fight.

Although President Ashraf Ghani condemned the lynching and ordered an investigation, some officials were quick to endorse it – including the deputy minister of information and culture, Semin Ghazal Hasanzada and Kabul police spokesman Hashmat Stanekzai. The following day, after Friday prayers, some prominent imams also praised the crowd’s actions.
Farkhunda’s family were told by police to leave Kabul for their own safety.
But by the evening of the following day, the narrative had changed. An investigation by the ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs found no evidence that Farkhunda had burned the Koran.
The imams and officials retracted their statements of support for the lynching, and in time Hasanzada and Stanekzai were sacked.
“We went to the mortuary. I opened the plastic bag with the zip,” remembers Bibi Hajera.
My friends and I, we promised each other, ‘We won’t let any man touch this coffin’
Sahra Mosawi, Women’s rights activist
“I said: ‘Farkhunda, my child.’ I spoke to her and cleaned her hands and face. Her hands and feet were burned and bruised all over, her face was burned all over.
“‘Why did they do this to you, my girl?’ I felt she was telling me, ‘I was innocent. I was innocent, mother.'”
Farkhunda went from being a figure of loathing to a martyr. More than 1,000 people gathered for her funeral. In an unprecedented act for a country where burials are often male-only events, her coffin was carried to the grave by women.
“My friends and I, we promised each other, ‘We won’t let any man touch this coffin,'” says women’s rights activist Sahra Mosawi. “They’d come forward to carry the coffin and we said, ‘Don’t touch it. Where were you that day when 150 men attacked Farkhunda? Where were you?’
“It was the first time in Afghanistan that I had seen women supporting each other and standing together like that.”

Two days later, on 24 March, thousands of women and men marched through Kabul, chanting “We are all Farkhunda!” and demanding justice. Some of the protesters painted their faces red to mirror the image of Farkhunda’s bleeding face.

Forty-nine men were charged in connection with the murder.
At the televised trial that took place six weeks later, 11 police officers were sentenced to a year in prison for their failure to defend Farkhunda, eight civilians were given 16-year terms, and four death sentences were handed down. One of those sentenced to death was Zain-ul-Din, the shrine’s caretaker. Another was Yaqoob, the boy in the sunglasses shop.
“They weren’t human – they were just like wild wolves,” says Bibi Hajera, Farkhunda’s mother. “You beat her and killed her. That’s enough. Why did you drag her down the street? Run her over with a car? Burn her? You didn’t even leave her dead body intact.”

I think I have worked hard enough for the moment. I will come back to your fourth question (re: prominent people) at another time. For the moment, I just want to share something with you, and with anyone on the forum who might be interested. It does have some significance regarding the alleged prominent people within Freemasonry, however.
I’d like to talk about a man called Peter Hemingway. On paper, Peter Hemingway is an absolutely plum candidate for exercising secretive power within Freemasonry. For many years he was the Third Grand Principal of the Supreme Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of England. The Royal Arch is an adjunct to, and extension of, Craft Freemasonry. The First Grand Principal is the Duke of Kent, also the Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of England. Peter Hemingway was his number three man for 15 years or so. He was therefore a person of considerable administrative and social significance within Freemasonry.
Just imagine what could be done with that information. Peter Hemingway, the éminence grise behind the amiable old duffer of a front man. The man who really pulls the strings in a secret conclave of Freemasons. The Martin Bormann of Freemasonry: principal private secretary to an easily manipulated sock puppet Royal.
Except I happen to know the Reverend Peter Hemingway personally, quite well, or at least I did: he has now retired and moved away and his health is not of the best, unfortunately. He was my parish vicar for many years: he married my wife and I at the Parish Church of St Alban, North Harrow, and baptized our three children there. A more innocuous, decent, amiable man could not be imagined. He was too bloody busy to be Ernst Stavro Blofeld, believe me. You can believe in people dispatching Freemasonic assassins from secret dark rooms until you actually know these people.
Now, if I had not said that, and instead I had said that Royal Arch Freemasonry was the true repository of Masonic power, and that it was staffed by prominent and ambitious men determined to gain for themselves as much wealth and property and power as possible, you can bet your life that I would have been believed. That would have gone around the Internet like a bolt of lightning. As it is, always assuming that you believe me, of course, it must be, because it is apparently psychologically necessary to some people that it is true that Freemasons are a secret society bent on controlling the world, that Royal Arch Freemasonry is just another front. That I am a dupe, and Peter Hemingway’s a dupe, and the Duke of Kent’s a dupe, and the real Freemasons are still further behind the scenes, fooling us all, and jerking us around like marionettes.
You see, it is impossible to argue with an attitude like that. It is just not worthwhile.
Kind regards,
John
