Coe Better Protected Than Blatter By Corrupt National Authorities 1875

Why are the Metropolitan Police not feeling Tory Lord Sebastian Coe’s collar and trawling his hard drives? I blogged recently about his involvement in awarding the World Athletics Championships without a vote to the hometown of his long term paymasters and sponsors, Nike. Plus the £12 million his promotions company made from VIP hospitality packages for the Olympics, the VIP tickets for which were allocated by the Organising Committee of which he was the £600,000 pa chairman.

Now we have this, from the person Coe works closest with in the IAAF and who he has now promoted to head the President’s office since Coe assumed that title:

« Dear Papa,

Following our discussion earlier I have already had some thoughts and believe that we need to do the following, in the strict confidence and control within a small circle of senior IAAF staff only. This must be very secret.
(…)

4. Finally, as soon as possible, and ‘unofficially’ PR campaign to ensure that we avoid international media scandals related to the Moscow Championships especially in the British press, where the worst of the articles is coming from. This will require specialist PR skills (working only with me directly) from London, but I believe that if we consider using CSM we can also benefit from Seb’s political influence in the UK. It is in his personal interest to ensure that the Moscow World Champs is a success and that people do not think that the media of his own country are trying to destroy it. We can work extremely hard in stopping any planed ‘attack’ on Russia from the British press in the coming weeks.

5. Finally, I need to be able to sit down with the Anti-doping department and understand exactly what Russian ‘skeleton’ we have still in the cupboard regarding doping. I think that the time to have unveiled the various athletes was a long time ago and that now we need to be smart. These athletes, of course, should NOT be part of any Russian team for these World Championships and Valentin should be pressurised to make sure this is the case. If the guilty ones are not competing then we might as well wait until the event is over to announce them. Or we announce one or two BUT AT THE SAME TIME as athletes from other countries. Also we can prepare a special dossier on IAAF testing which will show that one of the reasons why these Russian athletes come up positive is that they get tested a lot !!! In the same way, we can make the point that the WADA laboratory is the responsibility of WADA not IAAF and that if WADA decides there really is a problem, we have a plan B to do the tests in Lausanne instead (Gabriel confirmed this to me yesterday).

Papa, as soon as I have an idea of the price of this unofficial PR campaign I will let you know, but I will do everything in my power to protect the IAAF and the President.

All the best Nick »

So what does the Establishment now wish us to believe?

a) As long-term Vice President of the IAAF, Coe had no idea the organisation was massively corrupt and the President was taking huge bribes to cover-up doping scandals.
b) Coe had no idea his close associate and now head of his office Nick Davies was writing to the son of the President proposing that Coe’s company and Coe’s “political influence” be used to keep doping scandals out of the British media.
c) Coe’s meeting, while Vice President of the IAAF, with executives of his sponsor Nike, to discuss awarding the World Athletics Championships to Eugene, had no bearing at all on the decision of the President of IAAF to award the games to Eugene without a vote.

All that is even less convincing than Sepp Blatter’s declarations of innocence. Yet there is an utter difference in the British media’s treatment of Blatter and of “Lord” Coe.

I wonder why?

re Herbie. If I’d been that Muslim family, I’d have gone to Disneyland Paris, rather than LA. The French police can’t be bothered to stop you.

Indeed – why would they want to go to that armed madhouse anyway?

  • glenn_uk

To my mind there is a slight difference between good-humouredly observing that some of your posts have been deleted and drwaing certain general conclusions from that eg, Anon)and whining away self-righteously across a couple of pages of a thread out of a feeling of (I suppose) l’ese-majeste’ and out of a refusal to admit that the mods might have deleted something crappily off-topic(eg, the Pugnacious One).”

Weak stuff. That “Ah, yes, but that’s different because…” line always has the ring of a feeble school-yard excuse to it. Either it’s poor form to whine about deleted posts, or it’s not. And that mutt of yours sho’ did a lot of whining.

The latent and manifest racism is so rampant that some of the “contributors” are not even aware of the inherent racism in their remarks.

Fact that the only excuse for putting up with being poor, forever in debt, putting up with utter shite coming our way in our daily drudgeries we have come to accept as life was/is; the limited freedoms of movement, and expression/speech!

These people had decided to go for a family holiday in Disneyland, they have every right to wish to spend their very hard earned funds any which way they choose to spend and for these to be stopped from doing so simply because they are Muslims is the thin end of the wedge.

Now do you see that Germans circa 1930s were not evil or deranged or even racist!!!! They were the same kind of citizens as your good selves and did exactly as they were required hate a minority as they were required to, and made excuses for hating that minority, rationalising away any kind of shame or disgrace.

If you want an education beyond what Craig Murray, Mark Golding, and a few others including Mary write here (I can’t believe (well I can) that the horrible people (you know who you are) have chased her away), I would recommend – for some very heavy (but completely brilliant Christmas reading)

    1. The Saker “Putin and Israel – a complex and multi-layered relationship” December 23rd 2015

    http://thesaker.is/putin-and-israel-a-complex-and-multi-layered-relationship/

    2. Roger Tucker ” Thinking the Unthinkable: A Lamentation for the State of Israel – Well, Not Exactly” December 20 2015

    3. Dmitry Orlov “On the 19th day of Christmas…” December 22, 2015

I do realise, that most people, beyond their most basic indoctrination, don’t actually want an education,(particularly from an opposite non British (or whatever their tribe) point of view and merely want confirmation of what they already believe. But I like learning, and actually changing my mind – on the basis of new information and strong evidence.

Oh come on, you know how to do a google search. I assume only 1 link if any is allowed.

    Merry Christmas

    Tony

Tony_Opmoc, Mary was not banned, she left voluntarily, because of what she considered the discriminatory way in which her comments were being blocked by moderation. (Since I experienced the same blocking in a way that I also thought was discriminatory on the same thread, the Carmichael thread, I think her belief was quite reasonable.)

  • Alcyone

Lysias, our moderators are human beings you know, not machines. Wait till the machines take over, then you’ll be grateful. Or you can offer up to be a moderator?

  • Alcyone (Respect for Mods ;-)

“If you want an education beyond what Craig Murray, Mark Golding, and a few others including Mary write here (I can’t believe (well I can) that the horrible people (you know who you are) have chased her away),”

Opmoc, you should be the first one to tahnk the Mods. Have you considered keeping a diary?

  • glenn_uk

Lysias: “… I think her belief was quite reasonable.”

Yes, outrageous wasn’t it. After all, she’d never had demanded _other_ people be banned, have posts removed, delete this, change that on an almost daily basis, would she? Of course not. No more than snide comments would be made at other posters, but complained loudly about if the same was returned.

Partisanship. Not the most attractive quality in any poster, on any side.

  • Alcyone (Respect for Mods ;-)

Laguerre, excuse me, but do you know the meaning of the word ‘enjoyed’?

Do you typify the average bloke sleepwalking through life? What in the hell are you doing here? What is the content of your life, pray?

  • Alcyone (Respect for Mods ;-)

Lysias, Mary was not being blocked, her comments were deleted. She was both off-topic, but too clever by half trying to allude she wasn’t and she was part of what Jon used to term a bun fight. Begrudging people in Davos enjoying champagne and canapés with her usual sarcastic and obtusely jealous tones.

For anyone interested, yesterday a US SAC (Strategic Air Command) policy document dating from 1959 was declassified and released into the public domain…

    http://nsarchive.gwu.edu/nukevault/ebb538-Cold-War-Nuclear-Target-List-Declassified-First-Ever/

I quote: “… today for the first time by the National Security Archive http://www.nsarchive.org, provides the most comprehensive and detailed list of nuclear targets and target systems that has ever been declassified. As far as can be told, no comparable document has ever been declassified for any period of Cold War history.

The SAC study includes chilling details. According to its authors, their target priorities and nuclear bombing tactics would expose nearby civilians and “friendly forces and people” to high levels of deadly radioactive fallout.”

Of course, the Soviets/Russians had exactly the same policy; and the point is that American and Russian nukes are still kept on hair trigger alert today. Absolutely nothing has changed; in fact, because nukes are now so refined, it’s got even worse.

Remind me again, who were those egits in the UK Parliament who recently voted for war in Syria? a war that will bring us in direct confrontation with Russia…

Good you point that out, but too subtle for some.

With respect to the Israeli Christmas- and Christian-hater Bentzi Gopstein, my post about whom was temporarily blocked earlier in this thread, Richard Silverstein has a new posting about him which persuasively argues that he is anything but a lone nut outlier in today’s Israel. http://www.richardsilverstein.com/2015/12/22/the-israeli-war-against-christmas-and-christianity/

As I said in my earlier post, I very much doubt that i24news will tell us anything about this character. However, if they do, I hope somebody will show me with a link.

  • Alcyone (Respect for Mods ;-)

“Remind me again, who were those egits in the UK Parliament who recently voted for war in Syria? a war that will bring us in direct confrontation with Russia…”

Whats the latest at the UN on Syria, Roger?

  • lysias

Limited, low-yield nuclear weapons that did not exist during the Cold War have now been developed. As a result, it is now much more conceivable that nuclear weapons will be used in a war.

Why is it wrong to begrudge people in Davos enjoying champagne and canapés in a time of economic austerity?

A book I’m reading now, Michael Hudson’s Killing the Host: How Financial Parasites and Debt Bondage Destroy the Global Economy, besides being a devastating refutation of neoliberal economic theory, is also withering in its description of the behavior of the financial overclass.

  • Alcyone (Respect for Mods ;-)

“Why is it wrong to begrudge people in Davos enjoying champagne and canapés in a time of economic austerity?”

Does austerity mean you put people out of work and avoid there produce? Come on Lysias are you a communist? You know it doesn’t work!

  • Alcyone (Respect for Mods ;-)

Lysias, I never realised that you were such an in-the-closet Mary supporter. Glad we flushed you out 😉

  • RobG

Earlier this month, Putin let slip quite a few things, and amongst them was this…

‘Hopefully, no nukes will be needed’ against ISIS – Putin

    https://www.rt.com/news/325178-putin-nukes-missiles-isis/

It’s Christmas, so I’m going to be a bit charitable to the trolls, the scum, the vermin who constantly scream for war and hatred.

I hope you won’t be hanging from lampposts, and instead you’ll just get life in jail.

    We are coming for you.

    Make no mistake about that.

A “straw man” implies countering an argument which was not made. But I am making the point, and was doing so very much up-front – why should Mary consider herself above the rest of us?

No, you weren’t making a point about Mary’s beliefs, you were questioning mine. You asked “Why do you believe she deserves special, privileged treatment, above that of the rest of us?” and since I didn’t say and don’t believe she deserves special treatment, you were asking me to engage with your straw man argument.

It’s clear that she did, as demonstrated by her furious reaction to being treated in the same way as everyone else here. She had a couple of off-topic posts removed, for once, as did a number of other posters. Did you see anyone else flounce off like that?

No, it’s not clear why Mary left, as is evident from the competing theories. I think Mary believed she was being discriminated against, and I tried to reassure her that that probably wasn’t the case. As is your wont, you interpreted Mary’s actions in the most negative way. Are you jealous of the respect she gets from other posters?

It appears I’m having to spell out something rather obvious to you here.

Yes, it couldn’t be more obvious, thank you.

  • Laguerre

The latent and manifest racism is so rampant that some of the “contributors” are not even aware of the inherent racism in their remarks.

re Fedup. That remark was directed against me?!

The Muslim family cannot have been poor, in order to be able to afford a trip to LA to see Disneyland.

In any case, the problem is a political one on the part of the US. Even whites have to spend 2 hours in line in order to get into the US. My partner, who is French, was taken off for much longer interrogation, because she has a skin not quite white, although she is. She suffered a trauma which is still evident today.

The question is whether you should stand against the political choices of the US, or accept them. In general, I don’t go to the US these days, as too difficult. That’s what I was saying about these Muslims.

  • Alcyone (Respect for Mods ;-)

” It’s Christmas, so I’m going to be…blah blah blah.”

What is christmas do you, says I to another brain washed, conditioned medieval man. Wake up sonny boy!!!!

Lysias, I also served in the Cold War, in a slightly different capacity to yourself.

When the Wall came down in 1989 and the Soviet Union collapsed we were supposed to get a ‘peace dividend’. Instead, following a western controlled drunk Russian president called Yeltsin, we got Cold War II, with a totally invented Muslim bogeyman.

This bullshit is now so completely out of control that it’s beyond belief.
