I want to make an important point about the Walthamstow demonstrations against Stella Creasy’s enthusiasm for bombing. There are videos of the demos here on Guido but I can’t get an embed code off them, nor can I find them on Channel 4. Can anyone help me find a way to post them, with my observations?
Allowed HTML - you can use:
<a href="" title=""> <abbr title=""> <acronym title=""> <b> <blockquote cite=""> <cite> <code> <del datetime=""> <em> <i> <q cite=""> <s> <strike> <strong>
here you go:

Gavin,
Err no, that isn’t it.
Click on the tweet. Web twitter should open. Then click on the three dots to the right of the row. There’s an option to embed
Thanks Tom. That takes me to another copy of it, but still no way I can see to embed it?
Mark, sorry, where would I access the tweet?
You have probably gathered you are not dealing with someone very technically competent…
As Mark says, click on the three dots in https://twitter.com/Channel4News/status/671816371148161024?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

Try this.
<blockquote class=”twitter-video” lang=”en”><p lang=”en” dir=”ltr”>Demonstration outside <a href=”https://twitter.com/stellacreasy”>@stellacreasy’s Walthamstow constituency office against war in Syria – video <a href=”https://twitter.com/rhodri_jones”>@rhodri_jones</a> <a href=”https://t.co/O9ULmc6ofU”>https://t.co/O9ULmc6ofU— Channel 4 News (@Channel4News) <a href=”https://twitter.com/Channel4News/status/671816371148161024″>December 1, 2015</a></blockquote>
<script async src=”//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js” charset=”utf-8″></script>
That works Julian but it seems to be a lot of script to get what should be freely available on Channel 4. I thought this would work but it does not.

That is the status number of the footage as shown in your script. It looks like Channel 4 (police or spooks) may have taken it down because of the impending law-suits.
Not her but another Red Tory.

Labour’s Neil Coyle says a Twitter threat he received after voting in favour of airstrikes in Syria is now in the hands of police.

this gives me a fullscreen view of one of the videos, sorry it is a long string

as an html link long URI
if that works then it’s easy to embed with the [a href = . . .”] text [/a] (angles replaced for clarity)
@Alcyone/Villager, easy, just stop posting !
Afterall you were supposedly permanently banned at least once under each of your monikers !

That’s a bonus! I regularly use the comment form deliberately for that purpose. One of these days I’m going to accidentally post something that was only meant to be temporarily passing through the form. It will be down to luck as to whether the information I inadvertently release is embarrassingly revealing or just boring.
The recording was on Rhodri Jones website, I’ve downloaded it, I can forward it to your e-mail if you want…
