Feminism a Neo-Con Tool 2656

UPDATE

Minutes after I posted this article, the ludicrous Jess Phillips published an article in the Guardian which could not have been better designed to prove my thesis. A number of people have posted comments on the Guardian article pointing this out, and they have all been immediately deleted by the Guardian. I just tried it myself and was also deleted. I should be grateful if readers could now also try posting comments there, in order to make a point about censorship on the Guardian.

Catching up on a fortnight’s news, I have spent five hours searching in vain for criticism of Simon Danczuk from prominent or even just declared feminists. The Guardian was the obvious place to start, but while they had two articles by feminist writers condemning Chris Gayle’s clumsy attempt to chat up a presenter, their legion of feminist columnists were entirely silent on Danczuk. The only opinion piece was strongly defending him.

This is very peculiar. The allegation against Danczuk which is under police investigation – of initiating sex with a sleeping woman – is identical to the worst interpretation of the worst accusation against Julian Assange. The Assange allegation brought literally hundreds, probably thousands of condemnatory articles from feminist writers across the entire range of the mainstream media. I have dug up 57 in the Guardian alone with a simple and far from exhaustive search. In the case of Danczuk I can find nothing, zilch, nada. Not a single feminist peep.

The Assange case is not isolated. Tommy Sheridan has been pursuing a lone legal battle against the Murdoch empire for a decade, some of it in prison when the judicial system decided his “perjury” was imprisonable but Andy Coulson’s admitted perjury on the Murdoch side in the same case was not. I personally witnessed in court in Edinburgh last month Tommy Sheridan, with no lawyer (he has no money) arguing against a seven man Murdoch legal team including three QCs, that a letter from the husband of Jackie Bird of BBC Scotland should be admitted in evidence. Bird was working for Murdoch and suggested in his letter that a witness should be “got out of the country” to avoid giving evidence. The bias exhibited by the leading judge I found astonishing beyond belief. I was the only media in the court.

Yet even though the Murdoch allegations against Sheridan were of consensual sexual conduct, Sheridan’s fight against Murdoch has been undermined from the start by the massive and concerted attack he has faced from the forces of feminism. Just as the vital messages WikiLeaks and Assange have put out about war crimes, corruption and the relentless state attack on civil liberties have been undermined by the concerted feminist campaign promoting the self-evidently ludicrous claims of sexual offence against Assange.

As soon as the radical left pose the slightest threat to the neo-con establishment, an army of feminists can be relied upon to run a concerted campaign to undermine any progress the left wing might make. The attack on Jeremy Corbyn over the makeup of his shadow cabinet was a classic example. It is the first ever gender equal shadow cabinet, but the entire media for a 96 hour period last September ran headline news that the lack of women in the “top” posts was anti-feminist. Every feminist commentator in the UK piled in.

Among the obvious dishonesties of this campaign was the fact that Defence, Chancellor, Foreign Affairs and Home Secretary have always been considered the “great offices of State” and the argument only could be made by simply ignoring Defence. The other great irony was the “feminist” attack was led by Blairites like Harman and Cooper, and failed to address the fact that Blair had NO women in any of these posts for a full ten years as Prime Minister.

But facts did not matter in deploying the organised feminist lobby against Corbyn.

Which is why it is an important test to see what the feminists, both inside and outside the Labour Party, would do when the leading anti-Corbyn rent-a-gob, Simon Danczuk, was alleged to have some attitudes to women that seem very dubious indeed, including forcing an ex-wife into non-consensual s&m and that rape allegation.

And the answer is …nothing. Feminists who criticised Assange, Sheridan and Corbyn in droves were utterly silent on the subject of Danczuk. Because the purpose of established and paid feminism is to undermine the left in the service of the neo-cons, not to attack neo-cons like Danczuk.

Identity politics has been used to shatter any attempt to campaign for broader social justice for everybody. Instead it becomes about the rights of particular groups, and that is soon morphed into the neo-con language of opportunity. What is needed, modern feminism argues, is not a reduction of the vast gap between rich and poor, but a chance for some women to become Michelle Mone or Ann Gloag. It is not about good conditions for all, but the removal of glass ceilings for high paid feminist journalists or political hacks.

Feminism has become the main attack tool in the neo-con ideological arsenal. I am sceptical the concept can be redeemed from this.

This section of the current thread is brought to you by some oligarchs. Who all attended the blingfest last week at Davos where all the world’s greedy people gather to talk money. Many of whom, as the flight records indicate, flew into Zurich in private and charter jets from Moscow.

Goss – it’s the same system. Identical. Supporting one side against the other is nonsensical.

  • nevermind, did Lord Feldmannn ignore Elliott Johnson?

Cllr.s of established party politicians do not want to cut their own numbers in a move to centralise Cambridgeshire Norfolk and Suffolk, they’d rather cut services down to the bone.
Norfolk Children’s services are sooo bad that they soon be ‘corrected’ by the G4S ‘excellence’ or be taken over by TNC Serco, the paragon of all that is required, to the worst possible standard.

    In other news –

    http://www.imemc.org/article/74734

The Israeli Ministry of Defense, on Monday, approved plans to build 153 new settlement units in the occupied West Bank.

Israeli authorities approved tens of units in at least four settlements in the West Bank, in areas that include Jerusalem, southern Bethlehem, and the Jordan Valley area.

According to Peace Now, the move marks the end of an informal construction freeze in the Palestinian territory which lasted 18 months.

The rights group said, on December 28th, that Israel was working to revive and extend plans for new settler houses in the contentious area of the occupied West Bank known as E1.

In a report said to be based on government data obtained under a Freedom of Information Act request, the group stated that the housing ministry was seeking to build 55,548 units in the West Bank — including two new settlements — of which more than 8,300 housings would be in E1.

PS – the president of the European Jewish Council is a Russian oligarch.

I’m not speculating on the motives behind Israel’s condemnation. It’s own record in human rights is every bit as bad, if not worse, than Erdogan’s. Your speculation might well be right. Israel can hardly want to see ISIS defeated since it supports Saudi Arabia which also funds ISIS. Perhaps also if the ROTW concentrates on Turkey it can deflect its eyes from the ongoing Israel genocide against Palestinians. BDS.

The only thing I do know about those trying to change governments (regime change) is that it always ends up much worse for the people living in the failed state.

Although I’m no great fan of David Cameron, I do think the latest attack on his comment, over migrants, is politically correctness, gone mad.

David Cameron referred to refugees as “a bunch of migrants.” Hardly a nasty description of refugees at the Calais camp, commonly known as the Jungle.

However, I blame governments around the world, for the flak David Cameron has received for his comment. You see we’ve created so many laws now over decorum and attitude, that in my opinion it’s political etiquette gone mad.

We are afraid to speak our minds now, due fear of infringing someones rights or feelings, or a certain group in society, how on earth did we ever manage without political correctness?

Our governments have used the “political correctness” laws as a big stick, in which they beat us constantly into silence, if we stray off the reservation, in other words if we fail to agree with them.

It would appear that in today’s society speaking your mind, is fraught with danger, one wrong description or word regarding a section of society, will see you branded as a racist or some form of phobic person.

Who’d have thought a politician using the words “a bunch of migrants” would see such a uproar.

A striking memorial to the victims of Nazi atrocities is to be erected beside Parliament, David Cameron said.

The Prime Minister gave details of the scheme as he marked Holocaust Memorial Day at question time in the Commons.

It is to be put up in Victoria Tower Gardens, alongside the Thames next to the Palace of Westminster, and would “show the importance Britain places on preserving the memory of the Holocaust”, he told MPs.

This is an excellent example, regarding my previous comment. If anyone were to speak out against the erecting of this memorial, or ask why do we need another memorial (even though there’s the very informative J**ish museum in London which covers the holocaust) they’d be branded anti-Semitic.

Or if anyone were to say why do we need another holocaust memorial, or exhibition (as we have many including, the Beth Shalom Holocaust centre, the Holocaust Exhibition at the Imperial War museum, the Hyde Park Holocaust memorial and the memorial at the Institute of Contemporary History) they’d instantly be branded.

You see it’s considered politically incorrect to speak up on certain subjects or historical event, it’s deemed as offensive behaviour. Sadly society as a whole has stopped questioning, it’s been replaced by meek compliance.

Having bought The Saker’s book (its enormous and well worth £20), I was very interested to read of his conversion re the subject that cannot be mentioned here except in one 6 year old post.

It would seem the original content of this can now only be read in his book “The Essential Saker” but this link which is an update and summary is also is very interesting and does work.

It took him 8 years to get it, which I find amazing, as I have enormous respect for this guy as one of the most highly intelligent writers and analysts I have ever come across. It took me less than 18 months to be 100% certain (early 2003) based largely on the evidence in this link. Its to do with the physics and maths of of the event. So there’s hope for you guys yet – even Craig. Is he O.K. ?

    http://thesaker.is/why-am-i-not-hearing-the-endless-rumble-of-jaws-dropping-to-the-floor-updated/

Even The Saker, seems to want to keep his views on this fairly quiet, and he would also like to remain reasonably anonymous. I can understand the reasons why.

Meanwhile US Secretary of State John Kerry met China’s foreign minister Wang Yi, to dicuss how to curb North Korea’s nuclear programme.

Kerry intimated that the US and its allies will do whatever it takes to protect the West from NK aggression.

Kerry told Wang Yi, that Iran didn’t have a nuclear programme, yet it was subject to more sanctions than NK.

In my opinion China will be reluctant to impose any harsh restrictions on NK. China sees NK as a buffer zone between it and creeping Western influence.

But Kim Jong-Un, North Korea’s omnipotent dictator, acts like a spoilt child, constantly strutting and sabre rattling, and drawing attention to his countries unstable attitude.

China’s government will have their hands full, trying to berate and placate NK’s dictator, whilst, appeasing Western concerns over the increasingly unstable state.

Greece has come under the wrath of the European commission for failing to vet people properly entering the country, especially those coming through Turkey.

More than a million people have flooded into Europe through Greece which has the most Southerly capital (Athens) on mainland Europe.

Last month alone 35,000 people mostly from the Middle East passed through Greece on their way to other EU destinations.

Greece has been given three months to sort the problem out, or the European commission will take over the vetting process.

What does the EC expect Greece is a debt ridden disillusioned country, which has seen huge loans stifle and smother any proper management of civil services, cut backs and threats from the EU over debt repayments haven’t helped.

I am not going to try to prove any of this, but these are my beliefs, based on the evidence I have seen.

    1. London Bombings – I think Anthony John Hill got most of it right – and paid the price – for having the courage to publish it.

    2. Sandy Hook – dunno for sure – not really analysed it (but it seems highly likely on what other people have – that the entire thing was faked)

    3. Boston Bombings – Total Fake job – some of the best analysis of the photographic evidence on this was done by Dave McGowan who in May 2015 suddenly contracted an extremely aggressive form of cancer. He is now dead and so is his website (I am not suggesting any conspiracy theories here).

    4. Woolwich – I’m amazed Chris Spivey is still alive – but he is a bit of hard case and lives in Essex rather than the USA – he has paid the price as well – and he still hasn’t released the work he has done analysing The Paris Attacks.

    5. Its dangerous writing what you are convinced is The Truth on the Internet…or doing Youtube Videos…particularly if you do so using your own name.

I have the utmost respect for those still alive, who do.

    They are our heroes.

Personally, I think we are screwed. It doesn’t matter too much for me – cos I am well past my sell date already. But it does matter for my Kids and Grandkids…

So FCK You – if you can’t even work out 9/11.

Afraid are You? I’ve been writing about it since the Day it happened. I was all alone in my analysis for Years. It essentially cost me my job, though I wanted to leave anyway. Even now, there are very few people I personally know who I can discuss such things with.

Tony_0pmoc, I was in Scotland when Spivey was being tried for harassment, or I’d have gone to the trial; it was just five miles from where I live.

Still, if I’d repeatedly declared you non-existent and encouraged people to send abuse to your family via Facebook, I think that would be harassment, especially if you’d just been brutally murdered in public and your family were grieving.

  • lysias

I have just visited the 9/11 thread, where I will make any further comments I have to make on the subject. The curious will quickly discover from that thread that neither the trolls nor anybody else has properly answered Clark’s point.

  • Clark

Lysias, my guess is that we can discuss torture and its effects here no matter what its context, even 9/11. Craig just doesn’t want the most common 9/11 subject, destruction of buildings, intruding into thread after thread – which it undoubtedly does if not prohibited.

Habbabkuk can be terribly hypocritical, frequently posting personal jibes but complaining about others doing the same. So please don’t call him a troll – deprive him of any excuse.

  • Clark

    Repost:

Lysias, yes. The US authorities corrupted their own investigation in a way that could never be rectified.

Somehow, a lot of very sensationalist theories about television coverage, aircraft and buildings suddenly appeared on the Web, submerging nearly all other debate. I wish we could get those out of the way and get back to campaigning to put torturers and illegal warmongers on trial, with public denouncement of all results of “investigations” obtained by the illegal and utterly discredited use of torture.

The war on Iraq was illegal. The war on Afghanistan was probably illegal if we consider that the US presented torture confessions to gain UN and international approval.

  • Clark

Hmmm, I may need to correct my 6:08 comment; continued military operations in Afghanistan became illegal, being based upon forced confessions.

    – the early Guantanamo detainees were captured in Afghanistan. Others may be more conversant with the history.

  • Tony_0pmoc

    Clark,

Glad to hear it (re Craig being O.K. on Monday)

Re Woolwich – I threw up as soon as I heard the News…

I thought Oh shiit – not here again as well (by this time I knew Boston was faked)

As strange as it may seem, I spent a lot of time on Langley Estate (where The Drummer Man supposedly came from) when I was a kid.

My Mum used to be the Manageress of Johnson’s The Cleaners in Middleton, Nr Oldham – at about the same time as The Moors Murderer’s – Myra Hindley and the other evil bastard – now that was real – and I would not be surprised if Johnson’s The Cleaner’s cleaned their clothes…yes it was a very long time ago…

I was even taught how to shoot an air rifle on Langley Estate…and had my first job a few years later at the age of 15 in Bury…where The Drummer Man Rigby was supposedly buried…

I followed Spivey’s analysis live as he was doing it…

And he suddenly wrote…Fck Me..They are going to kill me for this…

In the photography he was analysing…the dead body (actor) just wasn’t there any more (he had got up for a fag break during the filming…

Some of the most interesting evidence was done on youtube by 108Morris108 …and he obviously thought..shiit…it ain’t safe to stay here…and he is Jewish….and he buggered off to Cambodia and is still there so far as I know (he is a very clever and honest guy) you should check out his videos…

Re the video that Brian posted today the festival you went to in Scotland…completely Brill…

I got arrested by doing almost the same thing at a Festival in my local Park…

I was accused of photographing Children at a Music Festival??

A big crowd gathered round me and the police..and they wanted to see the evidence…

I showed them the video on my camera I had just done.

Then my wife turned up – and Demanded -Why Have You Arrested My Husband?

    That Really Pissed Me Off.

They would have carted me off – if I had been alone.

    The World has Gone Mad..

So when they let me go..I videod the next band (who had asked me gritting my teeth and trying to be silent)

“And I don’t even know if Habbabkuk really is an “Israeli apologist” since so many leap to conclusions without bothering to inquire deeply enough to find out. • lysias

Clark, I will tale that as a statement that we can discuss 9/11, as long as we don’t discuss the destruction of buildings.

  • lysias

Abu Zubaydah and Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, two of the tortured detainees whose testimony figured prominently in the 9/11 Commission Report, were captured in Pakistan. So was Ramzi bin-al-Shibh. I don’t know if he was tortured, but he was certainly a victim of extraordinary rendition, held in secret CIA prisons of the kind where the torture was conducted, and was eventually transferred to Guantanamo, where he and the other two still sit.
