It strikes me that the US Government is still seriously divided on this issue, and what we are reading is CIA/neocon hawk newsspeak – trying to force the issue. Almost none of the comments are attributed to named members of the US Government. Its the same crazy mob who forced the Iraq War on lies, but they are not now officially in power.
Obama has not been quoted as saying anything except – he has “not made any decision to pursue a military option such as a no-fly zone.”
To arm Islamic nutters in a Civil War Strongly opposed by Russia and China is beyond insanity, which is why these people have been known as “Crazies” within the US Government for 15 years.
