Philip Cross Madness Part IV 510

Mike Barson, keyboard player of the great ska group Madness, had his Wikipedia entry amended by “Philip Cross” to delete his membership of Momentum and interview with The Canary.

This apparently trivial incident raises an important question. How does the “Philip Cross” Wikipedia monitoring operation work? “Cross”‘s systematic attack on Momentum and The Canary is a matter of record, and his twitter feed proves it is motivated by a visceral hatred of the anti-war movement. But how would “Cross” discover that a reference to Momentum had turned up somewhere as improbable as the page of a member of Madness?

To get this by Google just would not work – try it yourself if you don’t know it relates to Barson, to Madness, or anything about them. To do a daily Wikipedia site specific Google search for the word Momentum might get you there after hours of effort. Are there tools within Wikipedia itself that could alert “Cross” to this sort of reference being added anywhere on Wikipedia, and if so are they available to the general public?

A number of people have opined in reply to my posts that the time spent to make all of Cross’s daily edits, as per the number of keystrokes, is not great. That ignores the colossal effort that goes into research and above all monitoring of Wikipedia by the “Philip Cross” operation.

Finally, this is an excellent example of the bias of Wikipedia. The information about Barson is totally true. He is a proud member of Momentum. It is also quite interesting and an important bit of his life. But according to Wikipedia’s pro-MSM rules, “Philip Cross” can indeed delete it because the information is not from an MSM source. In the unlikely event of the Times or Telegraph ever writing about Barson’s Momentum membership, it would of course be in a hostile attack to which “Philip Cross” could then link.

I hope you are understanding the Jimmy Wales methodology by now.

So, to add to the mysteries of how “Philip Cross” works every waking hour, never takes a single day off and is followed on Twitter by few people but including half of Fleet Street, we can add the mystery of how he has omniscience of left wing references appearing in unlikely places on Wikipedia. Go figure.

So, Jimmy needs the money and the Boyz made him an offer he couldn’t refuse. My Obsesso-meter has timed out.

    Wiki at your peril.

Perhaps that is the case he certainly was involved in a mobile phone network. I remember seeing him at an investor show where he was seeking investment, I don’t think the shares have done well………..called something trashy like the peoples phone co.

Poor Philip Cross. On the one hand PC is probably laughing about our desperate theories regarding his/their modus operandi but, on the other hand, as any respectable cockroach, he/they probably doesn’t/don’t welcome any sunlight.

It is “highly likely” that PC (he/they/their handlers or clients) are intensely reading this blog since Craig focused in his/their fake persona. Do you imagine his/their impotence having no say in the discussion?. Not been able to edit, to delete or to correct our comments. Like a super heroe without powers. Seeing how some of the theories just match exactly with reality. Watching people starting to connect the dots: 3 & 4 letter agencies/companies with increasing budgets and always growing “security” mandates, MSM outlets and TPTB’s narratives as the only beneficiaries of PC (and similar others) editing.

Unfortunately, critical mass is lacking yet on our side, I think, but healthy discussion is necessary. I hope Craig finds creative ways to spread the message.

    @PC: See you in hell.

Sorry, the reply button no longer works for me, but thanks for the link. I concur. PC goes with a quack and waddle and a quack, all the way to Cheltenham and back.

…not to mention “Philip Cross” likes his own tweets, and call on Jimmy Wales to join him in his smearing with Galloway,

Jimmy Wales is of course married to Tony Blair’s former diary secretary Kate Garvey!

  • Ome Oke

Some mentioned his full name Andrew Philip Cross a few days ago. Is this the same one who is director of BRIGHT BLUE PARTNERSHIP LIMITED (10454866) as can be seen on the companies house website?

    • John Spencer-Davis

No, most unlikely. That gentleman has a 1967 birthdate whereas Philip Cross of Wikipedia claims 1963.

    • Jo Dominich

Repubilc, this is of very serious concern – why are the UN not stepping in here as none of these nations are at war with Israel so it breaches international law.

      • Andyoldlabour

The UN is based in New York, and IMHO has been controlled by the US for the past couple of decades. The current US representative Nikki Haley has been touted as a possible future candidate for POTUS, and god help us if that ever happened, because she is right up there with John Bolton and the rest of the Neocons.
World politics is in a shambolic state, where hypocrisy and double standards are the order of the day.
Both the US and Israel are rogue states, allowed to spread death and destruction around the Middle East, whilst the rest of the World looks on, their silence deafening, ultimately complicit in the slaughter.

I thought I would take a look at my old late friend anarchist poet and playwright Heathcote Williams wikipedia.Yes the edits are riddled with Philip Cross. Now I now know what was going on when Heathcote would ask me to change or remove the disinformation.

I know that HW did many, many things besides, but he was great in Derek Jarman film adapatation of ‘The Tempest’ and his comprehensive demolition of Boris Johnson is masterly (“Brexit Boris: From Mayor To Nightmare”)..

I really do not understand this miasma and blind spot that allot of the left and the pro Scottish independence supporters have about the EU? Yes of course Carney has a dog in the fight, he came from Goldman Sachs went to become Canada’s central banker where he blew up a massive speculative housing bubble with monetary policy, then on on to the Bank of England where he oversaw continued bailing out of the financial sector and is currently head of the BIS the central bank of central banks that was set up to manage war reparation then was a conduit for Nazi wealth after WW2 and overseas the Basel Accords.
Ask yourself this question, which job will Carney go to after the Bank of England?
After all where did Hank Paulson go (another ex Goldman operative) after leaving the organising the bail out as US treasury secretary?
Guess which bank Robert Rubin went to after being Clintons treasury secretary go after helping the derogation for Citybank from Glass Stegal before abolishing Glass Stegal?
Where did Timothy Gethner who replaced Paulson go after being treasury secretary?
Given this where do you think Mark Carney is going after the Bank of England?

Do you really think Carney is disinterested in the development of the EU, particularly as Goldman his ex employer organised the debt swap arrangement for Greek entry into the Euro that proved very profitable. It is also worth noting that people had taken out CDS with US banks against defaults on public and private debt that would of paid out in the event of default which was why Gethner according to Varafacus (in the book, and the weak suffer what they must) was lobbying against any white down of EU debt.

In case you were worried about him, Gethner is now in private equity, (this is oddly not part of of his Wiki entry).
The point is this, the EU guarantees free moment of capital as part of the single market as one of the four freedoms, this is rather useful for dubious financial activity particularly as the most dodgy activities are routed via London, as these activities are often illegal in the US, such as AIG having a London office and JP Morgans London whale. So if Carney is considering continuing his financial career Carney would be very interested in the UK maintaining financial pass porting with the EU as part of the single market.

I also ask you one further question, has Portugal, Spain, Greece or Italy recovered GDP PPP in real terms from the crisis if the economic policies of the EU are so credible? A hint both the UK and the US with their own currencies have.
I see all is going swimmingly in Italy Poland Hungary Latvia due to the EU economic polices.
You see however stupid short sighted and self destructive UK economic policy is, the EUs is worse.
I suggest you do a internet search on the reliability of previous Bank of England’s economic forecasting, time limit it to before the Brexit vote if you like you will get the same result.

He wouldn’t be searching for momentum, the word is used far too often for google, “Steve Topple” , “Mr. topple”, or “The Canary” are more likely.

This is only half serious but whatever. “Philip” from “philo-hippos” = “lover of horses”= “knight” or “noble”. Sir Anthony Salz was knighted in 2013, and Sir Evelyn Rothschild was knighted in 1983 and the big daddy himself The Lord Rothschild is “Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the British Empire (GBE)”

      Knight Grand Cross…… Philip Cross…..

Take this comment with the self-satirizing humor with which it is offered.

Recently I’ve noticed that it’s hard to get any useful information on certain politicians e.g. wealth, parents, education…
I thought it was just because Wikipedia was streamlined. Now I’m having second thoughts.
Suppose there are a few dozen Philip Crosses, why can’t we edit their edits? There are thousands of us.

Cannot understand all this narcissism that Wikipedia has or does’t have about people and events..

As far as I can tell, Wikipedia has no article about me, apparently dismissing me as a looney conspiracy theorist which I am not though quite satisfisded by being so claimed by such loonies. Google has collected over 11,000, 000 items on occasion by me or about me, and I am quite happy at that as it leaves those interested to read for themselves what I have done, influenced or allegedly done.

      • Trowbridge H. Ford

Good to hear from you, Shatner.

I am good as can be expected at 88. Have given up on any pills, and the roller I was forced to buy to get out of the rehab center after my apparent stroke. Still moving along as you can see with my wonder dog, Domino. He keeps me active and still thinking seriously. Wish most humans were too.

Take care and keep in touch

        • Trowbridge H. Ford

Have found a incredibly short article on Wikipedia about A.V. Dicey in French which hardly mentions anything in English except the existence my biography of the incredible political manipulator of matters on both sides of the Atlantic for half a century.

Some people most hope for similar treatment after they go the grave. Not me.

The Republic of Paraguay has become the third country to relocate its Embassy to Jerusalem.

It will not be the last country to do so – others, many others, will follow in due course.

    • GoAwayAndShutUp

      Which proves what?
That small countries subjected to big economic and political pressure always cave in?
      Get a life.

      • David Avi

Sorry, but your ‘which proves what?’ refers to the Republic of Paraguay moving its embassy to Jerusalem, the capital of the State of Israel, or to the likelihood that other states will follow? It’s instructive though that there’s been minimal fuss about it, I suppose because it represents a defeat for the enemies of Israel.

        • Jo Dominich

David Avi, Paraguay and Guatemala are both poor countries who need USA funding – that’s why they moved – not by any choice on their part but under a lot of pressure. Most people with an ounce of common human decency, with any kind of humanity in fact, wouldn’t be, as you are, gloating and savage about the Palestinians, their right to their homeland and the massacres, starvation, subjugation and deprivation they are suffering at the hands of the Israel Government as you are. You seem to find the massacre of human beings something to be amused by. I suppose you wouldn’t be so amused if there was a massacre of Israelis would you? No other countries will follow suit but your ignorance will allow you to believe that to be the case.

        • Clive P

Israel may claim Jerusalem as its capital but it is not. There is not a single international treaty/UN resolution that recognises Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. That is because it was illegally occupied and annexed. That is why the US decision (followed by a handful of its client states) is so dreadful.

          • David Avi

            Clive

            I’ll reply sentence by sentence.

1st sentence : it is not only claimed to be the capital, it is the capital, in that it has all the attributes and displays all the characteristics of a capital city.

2nd sentence : Who cares? Do capitals need to be officially recognised by international treaty or UN resolutions? Are London and Paris so recognised?

3rd sentence : Philip Cross – like, you forget to mention that East Jerusalem was illegally occupied (some would say annexed…) by Jordan until 1967. Anything to say about that?

4th sentence : when other countries also accept reality and move their embassies to Jerusalem – as they will as sure as day follows night – we’ll see whether you’ll still be talking about client states. (Actually, you probably will because you sound the type to use that expression for any state whose actions you disapprove of).

          • GoAwayAndShutUp

            @Davis Avi

            1. Of course Israel can declare Jerusalem or even the Moon as its capital, but it doesn’t make the move legal.

            2. We know you and Israel don’t care about International Law. It is not that capitals have to be recognized by International Law. The problem is that Israel is changing the status of Jerusalem in contravention to multiple UNSC resolutions (252, 271, 298, 476, 478 and so on), which are binding for member states.

            3. Even if that were accurate, illegal acts by others don’t make your illegal acts legal. Do I have to explain?.

            4. The reality is that Nikki Haley & Co. have a big hammer and sees small countries as nails. A minimum research on Latin American realities would confirm you that client states effectively exist but, as sure as day follows night, you will never be able to comprehend that.

Are all Security Council resolutions binding on all Member States?
            http://www.un.org/en/sc/about/faq.shtml#binding

          • David Avi

Have it your own way, my friend. We’ll see in a year’s time whether your list has been…let’s say a little limited. I suspect you’ll find that the US has broken the dam.

          • glenn_nl

Your argument is nothing more than “might means right”, however you try to pretty it up. Do you hold consistent in this philosophy generally, or only when it works in your favour?

Good of you to admit that Israel’s righteousness is on a par with America’s respect for human rights, though.

          • GoAwayAndShutUp

            @Davis Avi

US has broken lots of dams lately, indeed. Let’s see which side the flood goes.

    • glenn_nl

Indeed. Do you put this down to the righteousness of the Israeli state, or because of persuasion from the United States? (But only persuasion through example with its own deep respect for human rights, of course.)

      • Trowbridge H. Ford

Still think that a pre-emptive strike may be in the works for North Korea, given that growing stalemate over the state of its nukes, Glenn.

Given the current chaos in international affairs it’s good to know what may happened without any timetable.

Little poor, backward Paraguay has always been the best pawn that the US has in SA.

          • Trowbridge H. Ford

Thanks GAASU, for the link. See that it got better between when it left the USA in 1989, and only really got worse again around when I returned in 2012. Hope there was no connection.

        • glenn_nl

I don’t know, Trowbridge. Personally, I don’t see this meeting going ahead – and even if it does, it’s unlikely that anything positive would result. If Trump doesn’t take away a complete denuclearising of NK, it will be a loss for him. And NK is never, ever going to give up its nukes.

Not after the way Iraq, Syria, and Libya has gone, and the threat Iran is currently under. Iran gave up its programme, recall, and now look how much good it’s doing it! “Bad deal, very bad deal, the worst deal ever” etc. and that warmonger Bolton advising WW-III as the best course (if not the only possible option) all day, every day.

The US simply does not abide by its own agreements anymore – it cannot be trusted, not with this Trump in office (although not many people see that as a problem around here, amazingly enough). How can a deal be made with a country, when the next administration comes in and says it’s now void?

So NK cannot give up its weapons for obvious reasons. The US will accept nothing less. This is not a recipe for even bothering to have a meeting, less still expecting success from it.

          • Clark

“The US simply does not abide by its own agreements anymore – it cannot be trusted, not with this Trump in office (although not many people see that as a problem around here, amazingly enough)”

But it didn’t start with Trump, did it? And it isn’t just the US. Afghanistan offered Osama bin Laden. Iraq offered everything it could to avoid getting attacked. The UK persuaded Libya to give up its WMDs, and then championed the attack upon it. Trump’s a bit more blatant about it, but he’s just a natural progression within a well established trend.

          • Clark

“advising WW-III as the best course (if not the only possible option)…”

If WWIII is the answer, it must have been a bloody stupid question.

          • glenn_nl

You’re entirely correct, Clark – in both cases, full cooperation was offered – the US was only interested in war.

It’s on another level when you make a formal agreement with a country, which then decides they will not honour it upon a change of administration. Apart from broken treaties with indigenous American natives, of course, which obviously do not count – this breaks new grounds with the Trump administration. The Paris Accords were dismissed, Iran’s agreement with the entire world is being reneged upon.

This is not even bothering with the farce of going through the UN to pretend a position is legitimate. It is naked power, and we don’t normally see that in anything but fascist regimes, and brutal dictatorships. A fascist regime in charge of the US should cause more concern that the “meh” I’m seeing here, when it concerns Trump.

            *

( It doesn’t have to be a stupid question to receive an answer of WW-III – you are wrong. Just a complete moron answering the question. )

      • David Avi

Perhaps to both, Glenn, alternatively it might just be a sensible recognition of reality – Jerusalem is the capital of the State of Israel however much some might wish it wasn’t so and houses all the political, legislative, judicial and administrative bodies of the state except for the Ministry of Defence.

      • Shatnersrug

Paraguay eh? Sounds like a match made in white supremacist heaven. If you’re really lucky maybe Montenegro will join you too

        • David Avi

I like the racism and condescension which shines out of your reference to Montenegro – ‘lesser breeds’ thinking, perhaps?

          • David Avi

No, just amused that someone who’s accused Israel of being racist should sound racist himself. But of course there are people around who believe that Montenegro should still be part of a Greater Yugoslavia under the thumb of Belgrade.

  • Walt King

I don’t know if this has been remarked upon, but what I see as significant is that no attempt has been made to disguise these activities. I mean, they could have been spread across a dozen or more aliases, but no, it’s as if they want to be discovered, and they thumb their noses at us.

    • GoAwayAndShutUp

Wait. It is “highly likely” they are already spread aCross a dozen or more aliases, indeed.

      • glenn_nl

Just laziness, arrogance and incompetence. Don’t treat them with that much respect – they’re cunning and well funded, but think everyone else is really stupid. The tragic thing of course, is on the whole they’re right. What’s the readership of The Sun, Mail, Express, and so on, compared with any paper actually worth reading?

Come to think of it, what paper is worth reading anymore?

  • Sharp Ears

Zuckerberg’s outfit has been doing some censoring on behalf of Israel.

‘Why did Facebook ban The Electronic Intifada’s ad for “Killing Gaza”?
    21 May 2018

Ad promoting article on “Killing Gaza” documentary was inexplicably “disapproved” a day after being approved by Facebook. Facebook banned an advert paid for by The Electronic Intifada a day after it was approved and was running successfully. The ban lasted for almost three days before the ad was restored without explanation.

This apparent act of censorship comes as Facebook is deepening its collaboration with Israel lobby groups and a pro-war Washington think tank to impose tighter controls on what people are allowed to see online, especially about Israel’s violations of Palestinian rights.
The ad promoted a post linking to an article by Max Blumenthal headlined “’Killing Gaza’ captures culture of resistance”

Killing Gaza is the name of the documentary newly released online that was filmed by Blumenthal and Dan Cohen during and after Israel’s devastating 2014 assault on the territory. The promoted post, which can be seen above, is a straightforward boost for the article.

Just another example of how America’s Nazis are slowly taking over the USA and the world. Maybe the descendants of the original ones are doing it out of Paraguay.

  • Sharp Ears

Perhaps people should gen up on Paraguay before praising them for following the US.

Chapter and verse from Andre Vltchek. He observes closely and reports accordingly.

‘All over the country, the descendants of European Nazis are still living in comfort, enjoying impunity and even respect. British and US intelligence facilitated the escape of thousands of notorious European Nazis to South America, often with the loot of golden teeth from the concentration camps, after they helped to break the left-wing political parties prior to post-war elections. It is believed that the notorious Hotel del Lago in San Bernardino (40 kilometers from Asuncion) offered shelter to several prominent Nazis, including Joseph Mengele, the Angel of the Death, a German SS officer and physician in the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau.

But San Bernardino on Lake Ypacarai is now also notorious for shameless land grabs. There is hardly any public access to the lake, the shore being gradually ‘privatized’ by the country’s ‘elites’ and their ‘nautical clubs’.

The social situation in Paraguay is so bad that tens of thousands of its citizens are regularly crossing the border to much wealthier and to certain extend socialist Argentina, where they are provided with free medical care and free education for their children.’

    Boris Johnson

I’m grateful to the French Chair of the Partnership for convening this important meeting.

We gather at a moment when the rules that guarantee the security of every country – including the global ban on chemical weapons – are gravely imperilled.

Almost a century ago, the world united to prohibit the use of chemical weapons with the Geneva Protocol of 1925.

More recently, 165 countries have signed the Chemical Weapons Convention of 1997 and agreed never to develop, manufacture or stockpile these munitions.

Banning this terrible category of weapon must rank among the seminal diplomatic achievements of the last century.

And yet I have the unwanted distinction of representing a country which has experienced the use of chemical weapons on its soil, not in a 20th century conflict but on 4 March this year, when a nerve agent struck down a father and daughter in Salisbury. Sergei and Yulia Skripal were rushed to hospital after being found reeling and distressed on a park bench.

In the days that followed, our experts had to seal off 9 locations in Salisbury – including a restaurant and a cemetery – in order to screen them for possible contamination. A police officer, Detective Sergeant Nick Bailey, was hospitalised after suffering the effects of exposure to the nerve agent.

Scores of unwitting bystanders had to be checked for symptoms. Their only involvement was that chance had placed them in certain areas of Salisbury on 4th March; they could have been from any country – including those represented here – for Salisbury ranks among the most popular tourist destinations in Europe.

The fact that no bystander was seriously harmed owed everything to luck and nothing to the perpetrators, who clearly did not care how many innocent people they endangered.

I am glad to say that Mr Skripal was released from hospital earlier today – though he is still receiving treatment. His daughter and Detective Sergeant Bailey were discharged last month.

Our experts analysed samples taken from the scene and identified them as a fourth generation, military-grade ‘Novichok’ nerve agent. The highest concentration was found on the handle of the front door of Mr Skripal’s home. We sent samples to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, whose experts independently confirmed this identification.

‘Novichok’ nerve agents were first developed in the Soviet Union in the 1980s. The British government has information that within the last decade, Russia has produced and stockpiled small quantities of ‘Novichok’ under the same programme that also investigated how to deliver nerve agents, including by application to door handles.

The fact that such a pure nerve agent was used narrows down the list of culprits to a state actor. And there is only one state that combines possession of Novichoks with a record of conducting assassinations and an obvious – indeed publicly avowed – motive for targeting Sergei Skripal.

We are left with no alternative conclusion except that the Russian state was responsible for attempted murder in a British city, using a banned nerve agent in breach of the Chemical Weapons Convention.

Our friends around the world shared our assessment and 28 countries and NATO acted in solidarity with Britain by expelling over 130 Russian diplomats – the biggest coordinated expulsion in history. Many of those countries are represented here today; once again, I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

This resolute action demonstrated our shared determination to ensure there can be no impunity for the use of chemical weapons, whether by a state or a terrorist group, whether in the UK or Syria or anywhere else.

On 7 April, barely a month after the Salisbury incident, the Asad regime used poison gas in the Syrian town of Douma, killing as many as 75 people, including children. Britain, France and the United States responded by launching targeted, precise and proportionate strikes against the chemical weapons infrastructure of the Syrian regime.

Even before the atrocity in Douma, a joint investigation by the UN and the OPCW had found the Asad regime guilty of using chemical weapons on 4 separate occasions between 2015 and 2017.

Russia’s response was not to enforce the ban on chemical weapons but to use its veto in the Security Council to protect Asad by shutting down the international investigation. That is all the more tragic when you consider that Russia is a permanent member of the Security Council with special responsibility for upholding peace and security, including the global ban on chemical weapons.

Given that the Kremlin seems determined to block any international investigation empowered to attribute responsibility for chemical attacks in Syria, then we must work together to develop another mechanism.

In the meantime, we have it within our power to impose sanctions on any individuals or entities involved in the use of chemical weapons:

we can collect and preserve the evidence of these crimes
we can call for a special session of the Conference of States Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention, in order to consider how best to support the Convention and its implementing body, the OPCW.
and we can make clear our resolve that the global ban on chemical weapons shall not be allowed to fade into irrelevance

If that moral calamity were to happen, the security of every nation would be at risk.

My goal is to be the last foreign minister who attends a gathering like this as the representative of a country that has witnessed the use of chemical weapons. Thank you.

Of course, MSM sources are disinformation, if not outright gaslighting. So, if Wiki considers MSM sources the ‘source of Truth’, then Wiki is basically useless. Well, useless for politics. It does have lots of info on science and tech, which is useful for students etc. Though, of course, politics also intrudes on science – ask anyone who lived in the Soviet Union – so perhaps on ‘controversial’ subject, Wiki is also useless?

I rarely use Wiki, and I never edit, so much of this is a little abstract to me. It’s important though, because it’s all part of the ‘perception management’ apparatus which so bedevils us today. Such perception manipulation can’t be healthy for societal, and individual psychological, development. Which is why it’s useful of course, to those who find it useful.

Funny. Or paranoid. I don’t know. Now everything politic that I read of, I search it in Wikipedia to see if PC has been there… and then… I was reading Sic Semper Tyrannis’ last post and found a reference to Joseph Mifsud. Select, Right Click, Search, Wikipedia, View History and voila!. PC setting the record “straight” and tying Misfud to Russia.

Framing the Trump Campaign as Lackey’s of Russia by Publius Tacitus

    PC edits for Joseph Misfud:

Is it possible for one person alone to know all details of everybody? Some people, somehow, suggest that PC could be just an internet freak. I think it would be materially impossible for just one person to gather information on that variety of fields and individuals plus posting those findings without pause.

Looking back through the edits of Philip Cross.

Systemic establishment bias to the extent it makes one extremely suspicious as to the actual source, some of these required significant research (and there are up to 30 a day), either this is an individual working 16 hours days, 365 days a year, or something far more organised.

“Nice guy” Jimmy has come out of those not smelling or roses either, and I suspect quite possibly could be implicated.

    Excellent work by Mr Murray.

I had a quick browse through the comments to see whether the below was mentioned, sorry if I missed it.

Wikipedia’s contents is open, meaning it can be downloaded by anyone.
If Philip Cross is indeed a front, with the objective of adjusting what goes into Wikipedia on a set range of topics, it would be of no consequence to hire someone with some proficiency in data mining to create a tool that regularly scans the latest copy of Wikipedia for any changes relevant to the topics the front monitors.

This tool could be sophisticated, but doesn’t have to be. For example, new mentions, in Wikipedia, on a daily basis, of ‘Momentum’ will be very small. It would be easy to, daily, sift through all the changes of all the topics under scrutiny and then create a to-do list of all the Wikipedia entries that need adjusting.
It’s hard to estimate, but I would suspect that, once this workflow is set up, it would require a workload of no more than a few hours per day.

** but on the third night a spook I recognised approached me***
    “Over-vivid imagination. Or paranoia.”

So I owe you an apology. I do have a very vivid imagination and all Muslims are entitled to a bit of healthy paranoia. I never meant to imply that MI5 might be interested in me nor that I am remotely interested in them. I was complaining about the racist Muslims who spy on me because I’m not from their country, clan or sect.
But on reflection I was wrong on this occasion. sorry my reply button doesn’t work. Can anyone tell me if that is because I haven’t paid a subscription? I’m very unlikely ever to pay a subscription because that would mean I belong to Craig’s country, political idea or religious opinion and I differ on numerous occasions. But not on this one.
