I saw some of the coverage of Trooping the Colour on BBC 1. Apparently it was broadcast from 10,30 – 13.05! apart from the iPlayer, it is being rebroadcast on BBC 2 tonight from 19.30 – 21.00 so a full welly job.

The commentators on the BBC commentary team were Brigadier Greville Bibby and Robert Hardman.

    BIBBY https://www.channel4.com/news/by/alex-thomson/blogs/disabled-soldier-bullied-superiors
    HARDMAN https://www.penguin.co.uk/authors/robert-hardman/1051324/

Get the drift. Obsequious. Then there’s Witchell outside the palace and another one doing vox pop stuff with the onlookers.

Donald Trump, reminds me of what it is like when you are in a Liverpool nightclub, without a Scouse accent. You know you are going to get a mouthful, but you never know until towards the end of the night, whether it is going to be a fist in your gob, or a cuddle and a kiss (and I am just talking about the blokes).

Donald Trump cracks me up. He is seriously trying to annoy nearly everyone. He is just simply inviting an appropriate response, and it is not “Oh Donald – We Love you” It is not “We love The USA”. It is not “USA, USA,USA, Go,Go, Go USA”

It is, well, I am too polite to say. The first word starts with F, the second O, and the third U.

“Donald Trump accuses EU of ‘robbing’ US as he delivers a new snub to Theresa May ”

    https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2018/06/09/donald-trump-accuses-eu-robbing-us-delivers-new-snub-theresa/

Disclaimer – I rather like him, but I can’t stand Theresa May. She is like a Jelly Fish. Trump is like a Shark, and i have swum with sharks on numerous occasions and hope to do so again.

The only thing that nearly killed me underwater was a Man-O-War.

    I didn’t see it.

    Its a jelly fish.

Trump maybe crap, but May is rubbish.

Donald Trump is a genius – and his genius is plain for all to see.

Many tens of thousands of hours must have been devoted to the bizarre Skripal case – and then along comes Trump and provides all of the answers by simply saying that Russia should be invited back into the G7 club. British lies are revealed to all who have eyes to see.

One sentence puts the British in their place – it will not take any more effort to close down the morons who so falsely claim to govern France and Germany. For President Trump it is like shooting fish in a barrel. The only hope for the Europeans is that Trump gets bored by how easy it all is. Spolier alert – Trump wont get bored and the end is nigh for the vacuous European traitor class.

      • laguerre

Oh, Trump shut up the Europeans, did he? He may have attacked the Europeans, but he didn’t bother to mention the Brits, who are completely irrelevant these days.

The fact is, the US is going full speed into isolation under Trump. It’s an old policy, reminds us of the 1920s. Annoy every ally, and it gets to be hard to get policies through (not that he has any), other than by threats.

I thought (unusually) that Freedland was right yesterday that Trump is a poor negotiator, and gives away tricks he doesn’t have to. Why give NK the honour of a one-to-one with the US president? NK has been seeking that for ages. NK is not going to give away its nuclear weapons for nothing, and does Trump imagine they will do? They’ve seen what happens if you do.

        • Loony

Sure Trump mentioned the Brits – that is what his comments about Russia were about.. Why bother mentioning them by name, because as you say they are irrelevant.

How can the US be isolationist? The US does not need allies, and it can make any threats it wants because Europe is a busted flush. Whaddya gonna do? The answer is nothing at all. Trump does not need to negotiate with you people – he can just issue orders and you will obey for the simple reason you are too weak and too supine to question any orders.

Take a look at the great mercantile power of Germany – it got got where it is by breaking every law it ever saw and through the economic rape of southern Europe. So where is Germany? About equal to the combined economies of California and New Jersey. There are still 48 states left to compete with your next champion.

          • Herbie

“So where is Germany? About equal to the combined economies of California and New Jersey.”

I’m sure California, NJ, and many of those other 48 states are bust.

Germany, Russia and China working together, however, beats the US even at its best.

          • laguerre

“How can the US be isolationist? ”

You have far too big an idea about the extent of US power. As indeed Trump is proving at the moment. What was worldwide domination at the time of 911, has shrunk and shrunk and shrunk. Now, in Syria, for example, they’re just another contestant in the multi-sided civil war, and not a winning one either. They would have withdrawn by now, if it weren’t for the Israeli voice in the ear. There are no US interests there, other than loss of face.

          • Mike

How would it be for the U.S. economy if Europe, Russia, China and Japan etc, were all trading together on “Pepe Escobar’s new silk roads” connecting the giant “Eurasian continent” using the Yuan instead of the “petro” dollar?
Wouldn’t the Petro dollar then be exposed as valueless, and isn’t preventing that scenario part of the reason why America is endlessly at war?
France are already building dairy factories to service China, and trans Eurasian trains are already arriving in the UK.

Far-right delusional types like Loony think that the sun waits for Trump to break wind, before it rises in the morning. I’d take no notice, people like that just say whatever the vacuous bobble-heads on Fox tell him.

Even more worryingly, that idiot Trump watches Fox all day, believes every word of it, and uses that to set policy throughout the day. It’s got so bad that government experts have to appear on “Fox & Friends” in order to get a message about something important through to the ignorant savage in the White House.

      • Monster

He is a genius of a sort, I agree, but genius is an overused word, often denoting superior ability to see what others don’t. Remember he is a property developer and they look at a site or building and can immediately see the potential, the flaws, the way forward, the bigger picture and the complete deal. Lying and obfuscation are key to their success. He will come away from Singapore with a deal, one that he worked out early on in his presidency. His withdrawal from the Paris agreement had a touch of brilliance too; his Koch brothers mates relied on that for their campaign cash. But now he is walking away from their plans with his steel and aluminium tariffs. The underlying brilliance with this, along with his Iran move, is that he has thrown the EU into chaos, which benefits the US. Russia will soon be onside again!

          Some success:
“Donald Trump’s net worth has grown about 300% to an estimated $4 billion since 1987, according to a report by the Associated Press. But the real estate mogul would have made even more money if he had just invested in index funds. The AP says that, if Trump had invested in an index fund in 1988, his net worth would be as much as $13 billion.

          The S&P 500 has grown 1,336% since 1988.”
          http://fortune.com/2015/08/20/donald-trump-index-funds/

That was in 2015. Since then Trump’s net worth has declined to $2.8 billion while the stock market is up.

        Cynicus,

If you have spent any time with sharks, rather than watching other people’s videos and reading other people’s press reports, you will realise that sharks are incredibly shy. Sure they are scavengers of the ocean, and eat the weak and dying newly dead fish, but I have never had a shark attack me, nor anyone I know, providing you don’t taunt them. If you can swim, nearly as fast as them, and I can with my flippers despite my myatonia congenita (its just a warming up thing), they are seriously impressed.

However, I must admit, | prefer dolphins. They seem to really like us humans.

There is a world below the surface of the ocean, and I feel really lucky in my life, that I have very occasionally experienced some of it.

        It is beautiful.

Do you want to see my underwater videos?

I may be doing some more soon.

Life in the old dog yet.

Let us pause to pay homage to a true hero of the people – one Sadiq Khan.

Mr. Khan has on many occasions bemoaned the escalating crime rate in London and is pretty clear that a lot of the problem resides with cuts to police budgets. Earlier this year, in evidence to the Budget and Performance Committee, Mr. Khan sought to “set out the stark reality of the Governments continued and dangerous real terms cuts to police funding.”

What a great shape that in policing terms London is separated from Kent. In Kent the police seemingly have a vast surplus of manpower. So vast is this surplus that they are able to deploy 3 Police Officers to get to the bottom of a case of a 79 year old woman suspected of feeding a cat.

    https://metro.co.uk/2018/06/06/took-three-police-officers-official-warning-tell-woman-couldnt-feed-cat-7609368/

Is there any reason why Kent Police are able to so effectively police “cat feeding crimes” but the London Police cannot effectively police a stabbing epidemic?

    • Charles Bostock

Law and order in England and Wales should be effected by

      – local (ie, county or similar) police

      – a national police force of the Gendarmerie type. Armed, of course.

      • Herbie

All you need to do is stop the rich stealing the public wealth.

Then peace shall soon again be upon this merry land.

    • Squeeth

Cuts in the porkies?!!? Stuff and nonsense, they’re the biggest bunch of gangsters in London. The quickest and easiest way to cut crime against the person is full employment.

    • Tony_0pmoc

      Loony,

There is no stabbing epidemic, nor gun epidemic in London. I have walked the streets of London, sometimes alone, late at night, as has my wife, for the last 40+ years, even though neither of us were born in London.

London is a place of peace.

Occasionally there are violent incidents, but that is the same anywhere in the world.

Whilst London, is very much a multi-cultural city with people from all over the world, I guess pretty much like New York, the difference in England, is that hardly anyone has a gun…

Sure sh1t happens, but it is very occasional, and I have never witnessed more than a fist fight in all this time, and that was in a pub, and the band played on.

I am afraid to go to the USA, because I think you are all fcking mad, especially the border guards and the US police.

Our UK Police are still the best in the World, and hardly any of them carry guns. The UK emergency ambulance service, often staffed by young feisty girls (paramedics who know their job) are the fastest in the world, and we all have massive respect for them.

Admittedly our politicans are rubbish – but look at your lot. They are hardly an example are they?

      Tony

      • Frank

“The UK emergency ambulance service, often staffed by young feisty girls (paramedics who know their job) are the fastest in the world, and we all have massive respect for them.!”

They certainly are Tony, especially in Salisbury. When the Skripals got into a bit of difficulty on a bench a concerned member of the public rang the emergency services @4:15.

A paramedic arrived within 60 seconds 4:16, then one arrived within another 60 seconds 4:17 on foot! And then the next minute 4:18 a large Volvo estate ambulance drove to the bench up the narrow arched “Market Walk”.

Well done everyone! The same can’t be said for the Air Ambulance they were just messing around, they got the call @4:19 but took off 10 minutes later. Then they flew slowly in the wrong direction for 15km (SE) until they corrected their course by 90 degs and flew even more slowly towards Salisbury. A 12.5 minute journey took them over half an hour. Not so well done!

There could of course be another explanation for both these two extraordinary differing responses.

        • Brendan

The Skripals were very lucky that they didn’t have to wait long for an ambulance. Another patient was lucky that she didn’t die waiting for one, when she was injured on a Salisbury street two months later:

“Pensioner with head injury waited hours on the ground for ambulance”
          http://www.salisburyjournal.co.uk/news/16247124.Pensioner_with_head_injury_waited_hours_on_the_ground_for_ambulance/

“Judith Jones, aged 76, cracked her head open after tripping over a no parking sign outside Mompesson House on a visit to Salisbury Cathedral Close on May 5.

Two police officers attended and helped to make the 999 call.

During the first call at about 5.15pm, they were told to expect a 90-minute wait, but crews did not turn up until 7.45pm.

Despite further calls to the ambulance service during the wait, Judith’s son Darryl was only told to keep her calm and that the ambulance “will be there when it gets there”. “

      • IanA

‘Occasionally there are violent incidents’ – 70 murders in the first 6 months of the year I would suggest belies that statement.

However Sadiq Khan, is just the Mayor of London a cushy job that even Boris Johnson held.

I have no sensible idea as to what the “alt right” is. I can only assume you are referring to people that have valid questions that you refuse to answer. A consequence of the refusal to answer such questions is the escalating crime throughout your society that sees many thousands of weak and vulnerable people subjected to sexual abuse, and many hundreds of young men subjected to brutal and senseless violence.

What you are really saying is that the victims of horrific crimes are not worth wasting time on, because to look at their situation would require you to look at your own twisted and depraved morality.

When is the IDF shooting going to stop? Or be stopped?

‘AFP photographer shot in the leg by IDF amid Gaza protests
    9 Jun 2018
A press vest did not protect an AFP photographer from Israeli bullets fired during protests in Gaza. He was taking a picture of a wounded protester when a bullet hit his leg.

On Friday, Mohammed Abed al-Baba was shot below the knee while wearing a clearly identifiable press vest and helmet around 200 meters from the border east of Jabalia in northern Gaza, according to AFP, citing the photographer. He was trying to photograph a protester who was injured earlier, when he himself was shot. Baba has been working for the agency in Gaza for nearly 18 years.
    [..]
Palestinian Ministry of Health Spokesperson Dr Ashraf al-Qudra said that Baba was wounded by Israeli fire. Since the beginning of the protests along the fence at the Gaza-Israel border on March 30, at least two Palestinian journalists were killed and dozens more were wounded by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) despite wearing the necessary marked vests.

A 21-year-old Palestinian medic, who has been wearing a medical uniform, was also killed by the IDF during protests. The Israeli military posted a heavily-edited video online, alleging Razan al-Najjar was “incited by Hamas” and was taking an active part in the rioting.

On Friday, the Gaza health official announced that at least four Palestinians, including one 15-year-old, were killed and more than 600 were injured during protests in Gaza. More than 100 of the injuries are from live gunfire, according to Ashraf al-Qudra.

Palestinians have been taking part in weekly March of Return protests against what they say is the Israeli occupation of their land for two months now. Tel Aviv denies any excessive use of force, saying that the riots are violent and pose a threat to the security of Israel, and it is acting in self-defense.’

The German goverment spokeswoman was questioned at a press conference yesterday about the Skripal case. The evidence-free comment in the middle is enough on its own to show how weak the “Russians did it” argument is after three months:

    (translated from German)
Question: A question to the Foreign Ministry on the long-running issue of Skripal: Now that it has become known that the [German] Federal Government in the PKG [Parlamentarischer Kontrollgremium – Parliamentary Control Committee] has informed that they have so far been provided with no evidence from the British government that the Nowitschok comes from Russia, and also that no evidence has been provided that Russia is behind the attack, does the Federal Government maintain its view that the trail clearly leads to Russia and that the measures taken until now, including the expulsion of Russian diplomats, are justified?

    (…)
Govt. Spokeswoman Fietz: Basically, you also know that the PKGr meets in secret. That is why I can tell you here what we have said again and again how we came to this evaluation in principle. The assessment is that we share the view of the British Government that there is a high likelihood that a Russian responsibility will be seen in this case, and there is no other plausible explanation in our view.

Let me remind you: it’s about an overall picture, which was repeatedly portrayed by the British side as follows: The nerve agent used was originally developed in Russia. The Russian government has maintained a secret program of the Novichok nerve agent. People like Mr. Skripal are considered targets by the Russian state. Incidentally, the Russian side has responded to specific questions from our British partners by providing only blanket denials and has not provided conclusive alternative explanations. Overall, these elements have led to the assessment of the Federal Government.

Supplementary question: You are right, the PKG does not meet in public, but what has been discussed there is no longer secret.
This does not change the fact that the federal government has stated there that the British government has not presented any evidence. How can it be that then, despite the lack of evidence both on the origin of Nowitschok – – – – I mean, it was or is available in Western States, including the Federal Republic, then yes the conclusion can no longer be that it could only come from Russia. How then can you stick so firmly to the thesis that there is no other plausible explanation? To be honest, this is not yet clear to me.

Govt. Spokeswoman Fietz: I do not share your overall assessment now and can really only refer to the fact that the information is given in the Parliamentary Control Committee, which does not meet in public.

Germany is the UK’s lap dog.

      • SA

I don’t think so. Germany is probably fuming at having to indulge in such obvious lying but the orders come much higher, from NATO real head office in Washington.

      • Brendan

The orders probably come from Washington but not as before from the White House, now that Trump is there.

Trump is even upsetting everyone at the G7. Merkel felt the need to ‘shirt-front’ him over the table, as seen in that photo on MoA (see bj’s other comment).

And he’s tweeted that Justin Trudeau is “very dishonest & weak” by being very mild to Trump in person but later strongly criticising US tariffs. Because of this behaviour, Trump won’t even sign the G7 Summit Communique!

Trump might just be using Trudeau as an excuse to avoid agreeing with some parts of the Communique, especially the anti-Russian part, which mentions the Skripal case:

“17. We urge Russia to cease its destabilizing behavior, to undermine democratic systems and its support of the Syrian regime. We condemn the attack using a military grade nerve agent in Salisbury, United Kingdom. We share and agree with the United Kingdom’s assessment that it is highly likely that the Russian Federation was responsible for the attack, and that there is no plausible alternative explanation. (…)”

I wonder does Trump know the real reason for the attack on Sergei Skripal. That might have been carried out in order to keep Sergei quiet about how the Steele dossier was written to smear Trump himself. That’s the real plausible alternative explanation that Germany is asking for.

Governmental collapse is coming, I’m pretty sure – melt-down, as Johnson puts it. There’s a limit to what the EU will do to prevent a British melt-down, though obviously they don’t want one.

You are a classic EU person. Focus on the British and miss all the action in Italy. They are coming up from the south and they hate the EU too.

        • laguerre

You obviously don’t know much about Italy. They’ve been through this sort of crisis a million times. It doesn’t bother them, or destabilise them.

What boys east of the Oder? Do you think Poland is about to leave the EU? You’re living in la-la land. It’s only Britain, which has (temporarily) lost its sanity, which wants to leave the EU. Brexiters like you always believe the EU is about to collapse – and they maintain it by shallow, superficial cherry-picking of stories from Europe. France is a good case in point. Your Brexiter buddies were 100% certain that Le Pen was going to win in France and take France out. In the end she was soundly beaten by 20 points, and completely disappeared for a long while. Now she’s abandoned Frexit, changed the party’s name, and worst of all, her politically ambitious niece, Marion Maréchal-Le Pen, has dropped the Le Pen bit of her name – the name of Le Pen is so toxic these days. The situation in other EU countries works in the same way – there’s absolutely no real appetite for leaving the EU, though moans there are – usually, as in Britain, by painting onto the EU what are really internal issues. It’s only in lunatic Britain that Brexit makes headway.

Greece destroyed itself through unrealistic expectations – high expenditure, no income – and still they didn’t leave the EU or the Euro, which they could have done – they were free to do so.

I see, by the way, that the Italian 5* minister has just said that Italy has no plans to leave the Euro. So, another bash on the head for the idiotic Brexiter idea that the Euro is about to collapse, and that rats are leaving a sinking ship. That will never happen – EU alliances are far too useful, in the end, though grumbles there may be.

I find RT’s website very interesting and much better than the BBC’s which is stale in comparison.

This report is of interest and should concern us all.

Chernobyl contaminating cow milk 30 years after nuclear meltdown – study https://www.rt.com/news/429279-ukraine-radioactive-chernobyl-milk/

‘Sampling milk from private farms in the Ukraine’s Rivne region, scientists from Exeter University and the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences made a startling find – radioactive material from more than three decades ago has leached into the livestock.

The lingering nuclear fallout from 1986 means farmers are unwittingly producing milk with radioactive caesium levels above the Ukraine safety standard of 100 becquerel per litre. The becquerel is a unit of radioactivity, with the new report documenting how some farms had milk with a radioactivity concentration of around 500 becquerel per litre.

One of the researchers, Dr Iryna Labunska, of the University of Exeter, believes the issue warrants government intervention. She said that while soil contamination in the Rivne region is not particularly high, the milk study shows how nuclear accidents have a long lasting legacy.’

    • laguerre

Hardly surprising that milk in the Chernobyl area is still contaminated, though sad for the local inhabitants.

The Police haven’t made too much fuss about this video, some joy riders had nicked Sergey’s car whist he was on the piss and nosh in the town (14.55). The car is seen on the street (India Avenue) that runs from Christie Miller Rd (Sergey’s gaff) to Devizes Rd (where the car was caught on CCTV at 13:32 on the pub (Devizes Inn) where it was being driven by someone with brown sleeves over white shirt)
The Time Setting on one or both cameras might not be correct but I am sure the DM journos would have investigated that even if the police didn’t.

It is so obvious that the couple pictured on “CCTV” are not the Skripals. She has blonde hair as already mentioned but also she’s putting a one fingered salute up at the camera… And the blurredness of the picture suggests that it was taken from a passing car rather than CCTV. Who would gesture like that at a CCTV camera?

        • Frank

No the CCTV was taken in Market walk but a different Camera than the Snap Fitness one showing another group 1 man an 2 women, the Skripals were not in that video either. One woman had small dog the other a white coat (Yulia had a black coat – Zizzi witness))

The “finger” in your picture, I think, is just the way she was holding the bag, the blurriness is not as bad in the played video (see below).

Yulia had reddish brown hair when caught on CCTV at a Moscow airport the day before, the female in Zizzis was described as having reddish brown hair.

You will see the Bench Tent and in the background where the CCTV was taken in Market Walk

Just above this Walk entrance is a CCTV camera pointing directly at the bench, the leader of the Council said this camera was working, it recorded HD images, the police had them and you can make out faces and number plates.

          http://www.salisburyjournal.co.uk/news/16081930.Investigators_are_studying_high-quality_CCTV_footage_of_Sergei_Skripal__says_council_leader/

In this pic is from Google street view, you can see the camera above Market Walk, you can pan the view around to see that the wall camera is pointing directly to the bench, the bench people (whoever they were) were at the bench for over an hour, a red bag has been photographed at the subsequent scene. A witness who saw the bench people on the bench (Freya Church) said the bench people were “100% definitely” the couple caught on CCTV.

Yes, I see what you mean Frank. They look nothing like the Skripals though, and he is wearing a black coat (not green!). She does seem to be looking at the camera though. When data from 16th March that can clearly be discounted isn’t… over two months later… you have to wonder if they really want to get to the truth.
Your grandchildren were safe. May must have known the Putin wouldn’t retaliate. But she’s playing a dangerous game.
One thing is for sure… the official story doesn’t stand up to even brief scrutiny. Another thing… the heads of state of some countries are taking diplomacy to ridiculous levels, and the US under Trump wasn’t prepared to go that far. Interesting piece on the Skripals between George Galloway one of his guests on Friday.

        • Brendan

The guy in the video looks too slim to be Sergei anyway, especially when compared with the images of Sergei in another CCTV recording from a shop where he bought scratchcards and sausages the week before.

So no CCTV recording of the Skripals on that day has been released so far (apart from Sergei’s car), even though the police have said that they are studying more than 4,000 hours of CCTV recordings.

The lack of useful CCTV footage seems to be the official position, if the Guardian’s Defence and intelligence correspondent Ewen MacAskill was briefed at all for an article published on 1st May. In that, he reported “… among problems that have hampered the agencies is a lack of CCTV coverage in Salisbury compared with London.” He presented this as a possible reason why there were still no suspects for the attack.
          https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2018/may/01/no-suspects-yet-in-skripal-nerve-agent-attack-mps-told

Luke Harding said much the same thing last week in a public discussion with his Guardian colleagues (see my comment on page 2, https://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2018/06/silence-is-sort-of-dirty-bronzeish/comment-page-1/#comment-754033 ).

Unbelievable, like a lot of other parts of the official story.

    • bj

Color me an idiot, but what I don’t understand is this:

The article states: “Detectives have appealed for information about the pairs’ movements in the car between 1pm and 1.40pm when they are believed to have arrived at the Maltings shopping area.”

Are you silly? What’s wrong with these detectives! Are they incompetent?

Since Sergei and/or his daughter Yulia survived to live, what is stopping these detectives from asking them, Sergei and/or Yulia, which route they took in the car?
And when they answer, would it be an idea for these detectives to post on the internet, show on television and have printed in the newspapers, a map of Salisbury with superimposed on it the track of the Skripals’ car ride?

      • Frank

So now we have to re-order time

This is a rather attractive light brown tweed jacket by Dobell

          https://www.dobell.co.uk/media/product/f10/dobell-light-brown-tweed-jacket-jn2cmrzdp7-732.jpg

I only mention it because it has been reported that Sergey used to meet with his Mi6 handler once a month at a restaurant on the other side of the Maltings from Zizzis and the spook always wore a tweed suit.

So what? Well when I am not given proper information by the police I tend to make connections of my own. Cain Prince said the police told him that Skripal was wearing a green coat.

          https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/mar/06/uk-counter-terror-police-investigate-russian-spy-mystery-sergei-skripal

But the driver of the car caught by CCTV at the Devizes Inn ( at whatever time it was) is pictured wearing a light brown jacket of the colour in the photo above.

          • truthwillout

The man in the video was wearing a black coat so that doesn’t fit either. There is plenty of evidence to completely discount the 6th March Daily Mirror video.

          • Frank

We can completely discount the CCTV video (White haired man black coat with white haired woman, black coat, red bag) as being the Skripals ………. except

The female witness who saw the bench people on the bench at just after 4:00pm said they were “100% definitely” the couple in the video.

            Therefore

The couple on the bench were 100% Definitely Not the Skripals

            QED

          • Brendan

Eye witnesses very often get details wrong. The resolution of the video was too low for anyone to make a 100% identification anyway. Freya Church probably just looked at the video of an older man and younger woman soon before she saw a similar couple, and thought “that must be them”.

          • Frank

White hair, black coat, red bag. That would identify her and the clip is clear enough to pick out facial detail.

A second independent witness said the girl on the bench had blond hair.

“Olly Field, 30, saw Mr Skripal and his daughter on the bench after leaving a nearby gym around the time police were called at 4.15pm on Sunday.

“There was some blonde bird laying on an old man’s shoulder doing this hand thing in the air,” he added.”

The evidence is the girl on the bench had blond hair. The evidence is that Yulia had reddish brown hair.

But believe what you want the fact is: The People On The Bench Were Not The Skripals

          • Brendan

Well I don’t share your faith in eye-witness testimonies, although they can be very useful in cases where they can be independently corroberated.

But the account of the red bag is interesting because it is supported by photo and video evidence. Freya said about the woman: “She had a red bag at her feet.” The woman in the video was carrying a red bag. There is a recording of police recovering a red bag from Salisbury.

            https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/03/06/first-picture-daughter-poisoned-russian-spy-fighting-life-hospital/
            https://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/russian-spy-nerve-agent-plot-new-image-shows-police-at-scene-unprotected-against-deadly-toxin-a3784986.html

The independence of Freya’s account depends on whether she mentioned the red bag before she either saw the video or was told about it. We might never know, given the complete lack of transparency in the investigation.

Anyway, I don’t see how the the woman with the red bag fits into any narrative of what happened to Yulia and Sergei Skripal.

You seem dedicated to picking the losing horse in every race.

Anyone that looks at analysis knows that in the UK around 86% of “grooming gang members” are people of South Asian origin or heritage. Equally everyone that look at analysis knows that almost invariably serial killers (almost everywhere) are Caucasian.

You don’t seem too keen on actually stopping crime or investigating crime – rather you seem to like the idea of politicizing crime. Take a look at this case in all of its vile hideousness

      https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-43555887

This was not major news because Vietnamese are the “wrong kind” of Asian and the murderers were just typical British losers. No one is interested in how these people had separately each murdered someone else in horrific circumstances and then set free to kill again.

All you do is provide useful cover for the deranged people who have taken control of society. Who set these people free and why? That we will not know because no one is interested in knowing/

Take a look at the Manchester Arena bombing. Sure a nutter (almost certainly connected to British security) kills a lot of people. This guy was also at Salford University.. The Vice Chancellor there gets paid over £500,000 per year and has consistently argued against the government Prevent strategy. Who is going to ask this person to explain themselves? Answer no one, because no-one cares.

G7 summit ends in disarray as Trump abandons joint statement
    2 hours ago
US President Donald Trump has retracted his endorsement of the joint communique issued at the end of the G7 summit, accusing Canada of “dishonesty”.

He said that other countries were imposing “massive tariffs” on the US. The joint communique, advocating a “rules-based trading system”, was reached despite tension over US tariffs on steel and aluminium imports.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau vowed afterwards to press ahead with retaliatory tariffs on 1 July.

Back to Philip Cross’s ‘editing’ on Wikipedia.
    ….
. Craig is in a list. ‘Regarding other articles he had agreed not to edit, Cross alluded to his initial statement at the Administrators’ Noticeboard: “the other articles which have been queried by interested parties, including the article about Oliver Kamm….” For the record, such queried BLPs include the other “goons” with whom Cross is in open conflict—Matthew Gordon Banks, Craig Murray, Nafeez Mosaddeq Ahmed, Tim Hayward (academic), Piers Robinson, and Media Lens—all of whose Wikipedia pages Cross has frequently edited.’

As I read it, Philip Cross is largely free to continue to do as he likes.
By statistic, he has ‘decent taste’.

John Pilger’s article –to name one– can be vandalized at will.

Of George Galloway, it is stated “he is a divisive, consciously provocative and widely disliked figure”, in an attempt to justify Philip Cross’ edits.

      Fine.
But so happens to be Philip Cross, in the meantime; he has become “a divisive, consciously provocative and widely disliked figure”.
Yet any attempt to create a Wikipedia page for this Philip Cross has so far been thwarted and undone.

Why and on what ground? That issue isn’t stated, and it isn’t addressed.

Look at this door, just look at it! And think!

    https://i2-prod.mirror.co.uk/incoming/article12133224.ece/ALTERNATES/s615b/AGP_MDM_050318SPY_007.jpg

The police now “know” that the Skripals left the house to be at the Cemetery at c 9:15

Returned and left again at c 13.30 (Any other comings and going we don’t know – there are two main roads that access the property, one covered by CCTV the other apparently not)

This is what we are now being told.

There was so much Novichock on the handle it dripped onto the mat / step.

The lock is a Euro type where you lift the handle up and turn the key (two handed)

The hinges are external meaning the door unusually opens outwards (facilitating the ability to knock callers off the step – useful!)

Think of the hands used and to do what (I had got this wrong earlier)

Think of the footwork involved both entering and leaving.

Think of how many it takes to open shut and lock the door

How badly contaminated is that person compared with someone who just walks through.

What does the main contaminated person touch (on entering and/or leaving), where do they step.

Everyone else that visits after first contamination do they where feet covers?

The pets, would they have trod in the stuff?

Does it give off vapours, people stood nearby?

And the police have been thinking about this to come up with a convincing explanation which they are soon going to amuse us with. – When the stuff was applied. – Good luck with that!

    • Frank

Correction: Its interesting that the current Skripal travel timings are being set by private CCTV captures, two – one we are told is has an incorrect time stamp of 1h 22m the other out by 3 mins. We are told by the Council leader that their CCTV was working on the day and caught HD quality images. The Highways dept have cameras dotted around the town including St Pauls Roundabout where the Skripals would need to use if heading towards town which included (we are told) their am trip to the Cemetery and their pm trip to the town centre car park.

Why no Highways, Council or Car Park CCTV verification of timings and instances of capture? Only two in the public domain both traveling away fro their home at 13:32 at the Devizes Inn and 14:55 on India Avenue, no captures for the Cemetery trip (there or return) where they pass a number of CCTV cameras.

What is being hidden and why, these HD cameras do pick out face details of car occupants.

The Devizes Inn capture has the driver with a light brown jacket, the police say Sergey was wearing a green one on that day.

      • Antonyl

Good job Frank to line up the timings and places in the Skripal drama: this is where we could discern facts from fiction. A annotated Timeline is pretty harsh on bad script, directing, or acting. Those damn unexpected events from real life, like private cameras and annoying witnesses passing by.

The Skripals might be kidnapped by MI6 for all that is officially published till date.

The mind set of an (ex) Tory MP in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. How dare she categorize the Grenfell survivors as ‘gangs’.

‘The former MP for Kensington and Chelsea called for Grenfell Tower to be torn down to stop it becoming a shrine – just days after the fire in which 72 people died. Victoria Borwick warned the demolition should take place ‘as soon as possible because otherwise it will just become a memorial’, and with the Notting Hill carnival in the summer ‘it does not bode well’.

The remarks came in a private email which also suggested the local community was difficult to help in the aftermath of the disaster a year ago because ‘rather like gangs, they don’t go into another territory’.’

The tragedy has been weaponized by the left for political gain. It is fair to expect a reaction.

      • D_Majestic

Rubbish. The facts of the case, even those known so far, have weaponised themselves. Looking forward to the (Remote) possibility of criminal proceedings.

I’ve been trying hard, but cannot find any mention of race in the article you link to.

Whilst financial fraud of any kind is definitely a crime, do you regard it as more serious than industrial/political fraud which leads to the deaths of scores of people, and leaves many more homeless?

          • Loony

Here is today’s lesson in comprehension.

Someone wrote, in relation to the Grenfell disaster “Looking forward to the (Remote) possibility of criminal proceedings.”

I merely provided evidence that criminal proceedings have been initiated in regard to this disaster. Thus the original comment was in error.

Nothing I have written is remotely connected to race and neither is there any ranking of crimes. I would have thought it self evidently obvious that some crimes are more serious than others – until recent times a good proxy for measuring the seriousness of a crime would have been Judicial sentencing guidelines.

But of course the anarchists and communists have fully penetrated the Justice system – and so you have those guilty of deeply disturbing murders being released to commit even more heinous murders and police forces dedicated to pursuing cat feeding crimes.

Against such a background very few people are likely to obtain justice – be they Vietnamese women burned to death in the locked boot of a car or a tower full of people incinerated before the high alter of money.

Those charged with destroying the Justice system no doubt benefit greatly from the activities of professional smear merchants and purveyors of innuendo who can be relied upon to attack anyone who tries to understand the actual situation.

Who is guilty here? Is it the organizations directly involved in the maintenance and management of Grenfell Tower or is it every single person who stood idly by and watched the destruction of the criminal justice system?

          • D_Majestic

There’s nit-picking. And then there’s counting the number of angels on a pinhead. Thank heaven others perceived my intent. What is the use of having checks and balances in safety of buildings if they are useless?

          • giyane

            D_Majestic:
“What is the use of having checks and balances in safety of buildings if they are useless?”

All new buildings take time to plan, so its possible to save money by not complying with the latest electrical regulations, BS 7671, and sticking with the out of date ones for when you started planning the building. The 18th Edition comes out next month, but it won’t come into force from Day 1.

Secondly , and much more importantly, the fridge freezer that caught fire had probably been subjected to excessive voltages and been damaged by them. Nobody has yet thought up a test for appliances that may have been affected by a fault in the installation.

When neutrals burn out, which they often do, especially if they haven’t been tightened properly, the electricity has to find a return path via the other live phases instead of the neutral. The regular tests and inspections , and the reports of the residents, highlighted the neutral problem in 2013. I have read a suggestion that the capacitor in the appliance may have been weakened by surges from 2013.

For example there are 2 types of car drivers, firstly the ones that notice a noise and wait to see how many more months they can keep driving without spending any money on it. the second group , like me, instantly tell their mechanics Why am I whizzing through space inches away from other cars and lorries in a defective vehicle?

No electrician would ever think about testing the appliances for damage after an overvoltage, because nobody has ever trained them to do so. not even a thought of a thought. All you do is turn it on and see if it’s still working.

There are already ten pages of forms to fill in on a single new electrical circuit. Every question must be answered. Grenfell was an accident. It takes multiple near-misses at all levels from designers to occupants, from suppliers to safety experts, from councillors to vermin. It was an accident. I do think we have to come to terms with the reality of human existence sometimes.

While broadly agreeing with moonofalabama on the significance of the enlarged SCO and its recent meeting in Qingdao, the best place in China for a convivial beer,I think he overstaes the case. The G20, as Putin remarked, has also eclipsed the importance of the rump G7,and there many possible lines of fraction within an SCO that encompasses India, Pakistan and China. Nor are Mongolians convinced Great Han Chauvinism is dead.
As to China (and Russia?) having North Korea’s back, I think this applies only to the Party but not the population at large. China and the DPRK may be like’lips and teeth’ ,but one tooth is manifestly rotten, the lips may let it drop out.Broadly speaking China has huge trading links(and an official trade deficit)with the South and would happily accept a reunified Korea run by Seoul if the Americans withdrew as they did in 1949.

In 2003 the police and Hutton said bugger the evidence Dr David Kelly died by suicide at Harrowdown Hill near his home and that is the official record.

The Evidence said Kelly died from an extremely sudden heart seizure (possiblly induced by drugs), he was transported to Harrowdow Hill because where he died and the circumstances were too embarrassing for the government. Eg in a safe house whilst being interrogated.

His suicide was staged and the law flouted regarding an Inquest because the obvious questions could not be allowed to be asked in the proper setting.

Travel forward in time 15 years and we are told the Russians tried to murder Sergey Skripal and his daughter got caught up in collateral damage. The means of the murder attempt was a Military Grade Nerve Agent of the group Novichocks.

That is not what the Evidence says

    The Evidence says;

The people on the bench were not the Skripals

The people on the bench were not poisoned by a Novichok type Nerve Agent

We were told only Russia could have made the Novichok and carried out the attract

    The Evidence says;

    That is not true;

Lots of people incl many from different countries, State employees and private individuals and companies.

Lots of people had a motive to harm Skripal including his ex colleagues that he betrayed (taught in Russian assassination techniques).
And the British government who set out to discredit and frame Russia at any opportunity especially Putin.

We have been told the Skripals want nothing to do with their family including Sergey’s 90 year old mum.

There is no evidence to support that but I don’t believe it.

We are back to the Kelly territory, prevent questions being asked, stifle the truth, issue lies.

But this time it was obvious straight away.

    Oh dear!

It was the completely amateur script and the nonsensical timings that gave it away from the start.

      The paramedic response time

      The Air Ambulance response time.

The time between contamination to very sudden symptoms on two different people, different ages, weights, size, sex, fitness, general health And contaminated at vey different levels. This stuff kills very very quickly.

The timings of the trip(s) into Salisbury have become farcical.

      And other details;
Witnesses*, Dr Stephen Davies’ letter to the Times, brave Bailey, held incommunicado, niece / cousin banned from visiting the UK, no ‘phone calls to mum / gran, Consular access denied, etc etc

      * two female witnesses one saying she saw the female bench person took off in the Air Ambulance, the other saying the bench people were “100% Definitely” the couple in the Market Walk CCTV capture ie Not THe Skripals.

Mrs May needs to resign, an apology issued to Putin and the Skripals (if he is still alive released)

Or are we really living in a Nazi / Stalinist Nightmare reality?

I feel quite strongly about this. Mrs May and Mr Johnson wanted to bump Britain into a conflict with Russia, they should pay and pay dearly.

The people that ordered, planned, carried out and covered up the Skripal scandal were not doing their duty. They are Anti-British, subversives, seditionists, perverts and cowards.

I have, for most of my life been against the death penalty but Parliament should bring a special bill where those responsible for this outrage are executed in public.

Very good/ Try for a second to imagine your outrage if someone posted a picture of a machete wielding Rwandan and then made some kind of asinine remark that Africans really are the salt of the earth.

Your outrage would be justifiable – but somehow giving a good kicking to the “wrong kind of people” is always justifiable and the “right kind of people” must be free from any form of criticism under all circumstances.

What can explain this other than some form of societal wide cowardice. I am aware of no society in history that has ever tried to embrace full spectrum cowardice as a virtue. I strongly suspect there to be a reason for this, a reason that has been understood by all peoples everywhere at all times. But not now in the UK.

I am not really sure what point you are trying to make by this false analogy between a fascist sympathiser and a machete wielding Rwandan. Am I missing something? The rest of your post makes little sense.

        • Loony

Yes. You are missing something. It is probably because you are ideologically possessed, the best cure is to read and try to comprehend the things I and those like me write.

You have no evidence that the man you refer to is a fascist sympathizer – you have seen a photograph and have drawn conclusions. Perhaps those conclusions are accurate, perhaps they are not. You have no way of knowing and therefore your conclusion cannot be relied upon.

Similarly there is no analogy (whether false or otherwise) between a fascist sympathizer and a machete wielding Rwandan.

‘…Similarly there is no analogy (whether false or otherwise) between a fascist sympathizer and a machete wielding Rwandan…’
That’s a bit of a leap – the Rwandan may well have had an MI5 ‘controller’ (remember, it is incontestable that the SAS trained Pol Pot’s war criminal ‘soldiers’ after they were thrown out of Cambodia).

          • Dom

“You have no evidence that the man you refer to is a fascist sympathizer – you have seen a photograph and have drawn conclusions”

He’s doing a Nazi salute. But I’d imagine there’s literally nothing he could do or say that would convince you he’s a racist.

          • Loony

I have no idea whether the man pictured “doing a Nazi salute” is in fact a Nazi, or whether he has Nazi sympathies – and neither do you.

Sometime ago Prince Harry was pictured wearing a Nazi uniform. Substantially no-one claimed this as evidence that Prince Harry was a Nazi.

It is the case that actual Nazi’s were, inter alia, characterized for having strongly held views of the world that they formed and held absent evidence to support these views. Much like you in fact. That I have identified a common trait as between you and Nazi’s does not lead to a rational conclusion that you are a Nazi – just as you cannot look at one picture free from context and background information and reach the conclusions you have reached.

          • Dom

Tediously weak fare, i’m afraid. For anybody of sound mind, a man seen performing a Nazi salute at an EDL rally is as straightforward a racist as can be found anywhere on the planet.

@RepublicOfScotland – “Poor Tommy’s followers, they really are the salt of the earth you know.”

Where do *you* stand on organised gang rape of children? Pro or against?

          • SA

There is a series of non sequiturs here in your simplistic question.
Tony Robinson: demonstrating about so called organised grooming asian gangs
Tony Robinson warned not to do this in this form because it may jeopardise case for prosecutions
TR breaks conditions of suspended sentence and receives jail sentence as result.
Organised grooming gangs not peculiar to any ethnic groups.
Not standing behind TR does not equate with being against anything but breaking the law.
TR is concerned about child grooming apparently only as a racial issue.
A racist who is fighting against one injustice is still a racist.
            And so on.

          • IT Bod

            @SA June 11, 2018 at 19:58

In what way am I being simplistic? Its a simple question! Are people for or against the gang rapes that are being highlighted by Tommy Robinson? I asked three people on here and none of them answered. Why? Are you prepared to answer SA? I honestly cannot see why that cannot be answered, but it reflects the government position pretty well. Silence.

I agree Tommy Robinson was warned not to broadcast from outside court. He did it and he got locked up. Fair enough. The problem with this though is that multiple other people did the same thing, except they were far more vocal and aggressive about it. And yet none of them got arrested, thrown in jail, or even cautioned.
            https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=638&v=w0B6FWyiQWI

Robinson has stated time and again that he’s not a racist. I don’t know him so I’m not in any position to defend him on that, but I and a lot of other non-racists agree with what he’s saying – that kids are getting abused, the state have been turning a blind eye and that’s not good enough in a civilised society. Some Labour politicians have been brave enough to say the same, shamefully they’ve been booted out (eg Sarah Champion, Amina Lone) . Some muslim commentators have also spoken out, eg Maajid Nawaz. My hope is that a dialog can be started to sort this out before more kids lives are destroyed.

Doesn’t matter who put it togather. The point is it contains a lot of footage of other people filming and causing bigger disturbances who did not get locked up. I cited it because you said that TR got locked up for jeopardising the case. I just think its interesting that he got locked up and the more vocal offenders didn’t. It makes it hard to defend the claim that he breached the peace if the louder guys apparently didn’t.

        • IT Bod

          @Paul Barbara
Your argument that because some scumbag that belongs to the same group that TR belonged to is a pedo proves that TR is a racist, is utterly pathetic. Your assertion is woefully devoid of any logic.

So put the group politics aside (TR, EDL, BNP etc) and cut to the central issue: where do *you* stand on organised gang rape of children? Pro or against?

          • Paul Barbara

            @ IT Bod June 11, 2018 at 08:06
The article clearly states that the convicted paedo and TR are still friends; also that the EDL tried to hush the story up about the paedo conviction, which clearly indicates they see the hypocrisy problem, even if you don’t.
As for your last two questions, I’m sure I’ve campaigned far more than you against child abuse, by anyone, of any race.

I saw some of the EDL at work on the Al Quds demo and march on Sunday, trying to attack peaceful marchers, but stopped by a powerful police presence. If you had seen their hate and rage, it MAY have altered your opinion of them.
In Mosley’s time, J*ws and Communists stood shoulder to shoulder in Cable Street; now, Zi**ists and the EDL often appear together at Demos.

Also, as per usual, where the MSM even deigned to mention the Sunday Al Quds Demo and march, they made it appear it was approximately equal numbers, around two hundred Quds Day demonstrators and Z**nists; others mentioned the EDL.
In reality it was a massive demonstration/march, starting at the Saudi Embassy at 15:00, then moving on at perhaps 18:45 towards Downing Street. It was still going on at 20:15’ish when I called it a day.
I most assuredly didn’t see anything like 200 Z**nist protesters, but I’m sure pictures will surface on the web of the massive demos and march (the Downing Strret demo was much smaller, as many went home after the main Saudi Demo).

          • IT Bod

            @Paul Barbara June 12, 2018 at 02:19

I’m no apologist for the EDL. But FWIW the MSM reports linked from your tweet said nothing about a connection being maintained between TR and McMillan. Which article are you referring to? If you don’t have any actual evidence I’ll consign it to the smear pile.

The Star article linked by your tweet quotes TR as saying “We completely condemn Richard Price”. TR left the EDL after that incident and by the time of the McMillan trial TR had been gone from EDL for about five years.

            > If you had seen their hate and rage, it MAY have altered your opinion of them.
Where do you get the idea I am an EDL sympathiser? Just because I support TR for campaigning against gang rape of children doesnt make me an EDL sympathiser. My comment on here was saying don’t tar the half million-plus TR supporters with the racist brush. Quite aside from me having no affliliation to EDL, neither does TR – he distanced himself from them five years ago.

I see this panning out in a similar way to brexit. The Labour party refused to get involved in an issue that millions of their grass roots supporters were deeply concerned about. Farage came along so millions threw theselves behind him as a figurehead for that issue. It was a way for people to galvanise their support over an issue. Same is likely to happen over these rape gangs with TR as the focal point. I believe that EDL is an irrelevance to most of TRs supporters. EDL are a tiny minority. And if Labour grasped the nettle on both of these issues then the public wouldnt have needed to reach out for alternatives.

Its not me confusing the two – you’re the one who conflated the two, “Poor Tommy’s followers” you said. You implied with your very selective photo that the people supporting TR were all fascists. This is the same tactic the MSM employ. Every time TR is in the news they side-track the issue he is raising (gang rape) and divert attention to “far right extremist groups”.

So who exactly do you mean by “Tommy’s followers”? There are a lot of people that support Tommy on this subject. More than half a million have signed the Free Tommy petition. The vast majority are nowhere near far-right. They are ordinary working class people, many with kids – this isn’t about politcal theory for them, its about real life.

Only political group I’ve ever belonged to is the Labour Party but I support TR’s campaign to get the profile of these abuses raised to force the politicians and authorities to start working towards a solution that safeguards children. A proactive solution rather than the current reactive non-solution, because I believe we ought to be striving to save every single child we can from prospective abuse. The way things are, without TR we could be waiting until hell freezes over.

It is important to look at the motive behind actions of an ‘activist’ like Tommy Robinson. His activism in this case is not against child grooming but because of racist motives. Otherwise you would hear of TR activism in other cases of paedophilia, such as those that are now being slowly investigated by the establishment to protect some high profile individuals. His activism is driven by racism and he has a long history of it. Moreover, his actions, leading to the charge of contempt of court, do not serve the purpose of bringing perpetrators to justice, rather it may slow the process. This is why many people in this blog are not supportive of his actions and that has nothing to do with them not supporting justice against the gang rape of children, and you seem to imply that not supporting TR is tantamount to supporting gang rape, a very spurious argument I am afraid.

          • IT Bod

            @SA June 11, 2018 at 20:12

You say his activism is driven by racism – that’s an opinion – it does not match what TR has said himself. But its a case of does one believe his interviews (eg on youtube) or does one believe the msm? I think that unless one knows him personally then one can’t say with certainty either way.

Yes he could have prejudiced the case, yes thats bad, but also as I said above others were far more extreme in their behaviour and the court didn’t seem at all worried about them prejudicing the case, so that’s odd.

I don’t expect people on here to necessarily be supportive of TR. But I do get angry with the dismissal of all TR supporters being a bunch racists, if that was the implication. A lot of people are supporting the cause (against gang rapes) irrespective of the catalyst (TR).

It really is not a case of knowing him personally to decide whether the man is an islamiphobic racist. Previous leader of EDL, the started PEGIDA in U.K., not very successfully, and a very long criminal history including violence against the police, football hioliganism, fraud and now contempt of court. Sounds like this anti grooming activism is a coverup for racism. Please do your research in case you defend the indefensible.

I’ve already addressed these points. This is going around in circles now and Im getting bored typing. We’ll probably come back to it at some future point. Cheers for now mate.

  • Mochyn69

O/T but just watched the final episode of BBC’s Frankie Boyle in Russia.

Utterly disgraceful. How on earth can the UK’s public broadcaster end the mini series prequel to the World Cup with the comment “Fuck this place”?

    Fuck the BBC I say.

    • Sharp Ears

Did he really say that Mochyn 60? How disgraceful. All part of this state’s demonization of Russia and its people. They forget the sacrifice of 20 million Russians on the Eastern Front.

      • Andyoldlabour

He did indeed say those words, which IMO was pretty disgraceful. See the very last words of the video.

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNuaX_foYzk

The media are doing the very same things as they did prior to the Sochi Winter Olympics, and to be perfectly honest I despair of the whole dirty Russophobic campaign.
Meanwhile, in our oh so civilised UK, there are homeless people on the streets, austerity measures pushed onto us by this evil Tory government, an ever increasing gap between rich and poor and the NHS being starved of money and resources, which are being spent on F35 fighter jets for a huge aircraft carrier which leaks.

          • Andyoldlabour

Nobody is saying that everyone in Russia is an oligarch, or deleriously happy with their life, but I think we should concentrate on problems nearer home before we start criticising others.
Oh yes, that article is from MSF – USA, so it is worthless as far as I am concerned.

        • Momentum 2.0

It would be interesting to know exactly who are these devils orchestrating all the spin, where they meet, how they communicate, why no whistleblowers, how they get paid, etc. All this can easily come to light with a Corbyn government, only the 99% may get conned by the cons again in the coming GE.

          • Loony

It is possible that people may get conned – perhaps it is highly likely. However some ideas are so mad that no-one, no matter how deluded could be persuaded by them.

Take Momentum as an example. A simple Communist entry group – of exactly the same ilk that led to the deaths of over 100 million people worldwide. Exactly the same ideas that are in the process of destroying Venezuela – despite Venezuela having the largest oil reserves in the world.

A little injustice and a little wealth disparity (perhaps large injustices and large wealth disparities) is all a small price to pay to avoid a recreation of the killing fields of Cambodia.

          • glenn_nl

All very hysterical, but Momentum is not a communist group. But in fairness to you, the Clintons are probably communists in your rabid right-wing opinion.

          • Loony

Glenn – you are of course entitled to your opinions. However when denying that Momentum are a Communist group it would have been honest of you to acknowledge that your view is at odds with the views of Momentum and the Communist Party of Britain.

Perhaps you might like to explain why your view of Momentum and the Communist Party is more accurate than the views that these organizations hold about themselves.

Perhaps in your world all views that are predicated on factual evidence qualify as “hysterical” – after all M Derrida seemed very keen that his acolytes acted to destroy language at all available opportunities. In that respect you appear to be a dutiful disciple.

          • glenn_nl

Where does Momentum claim to be a communist organisation? Utter rubbish, sorry. It’s your standard slur about anyone who isn’t – like your hero Trump – a fascist.

You’re talking nonsense again. Just like when you claimed the registered Republican James Comey was a communist.

          • glenn_nl

Some BS from “Guido Fawkes” – that’s the best you’ve got? Weak indeed.

Jeez. I thought there’d be at least a link to Momentum’s self-declaration as being communists, but you always fail to meet even the lowest expectations.

In any case, you ought to visit Europe sometime. There are actual communist parties in a lot of countries where they’re doing rather well, and not chasing some vision of Cambodia, grim Soviet-era concrete slums and queuing for cabbage all day. Or any other paranoid fantasies you might be entertaining.

But, hang on, the SAS trained Pol Pot’s terrorist thugs after the Vietnamese drove them out of Cambodia.
And I believe it was under the ‘Iron Lady’ herself’s watch!
They didn’t like it, but ‘orders are orders’, just as they are now assisting the headchoppers in Syria.

    • Republicofscotland

Frankie’s sense of humour has always been close to the wire. I watched the whole programme, amd I thought he gave a fair judgement of Russia as a whole.
