The terrible death of Dawn Sturgess casts a new shadow over the Salisbury Affair. Dawn appears to have been a popular and well grounded woman with close friend and family ties, whose life had taken a downward turn before being cruelly ended.
The illogical, inconsistent and shifting government narrative over events in Salisbury and Amesbury had appeared so ludicrous as to be tragi-comic. Any sense of amusement is now abruptly dispelled. But less us take a serious and sober look at the government case.
Savid Javid stated today:
We know back in March that it was the Russians. We know it was a barbaric, inhuman act by the Russian state. Again, for this particular incident, we need to learn more and let the police do their work.
Actually, we know no such thing and, contrary to Javid’s deliberate insinuation, the police have adduced no evidence that it was the Russian state.
The media appear to have entirely excluded from the narrative that Porton Down specifically stated that they cannot determine the origin of the poison that attacked the Skripals. Nor has the OPCW. There are scores of both state and non-state actors who could have produced the nerve agent. No evidence has been produced as to the physical person who allegedly administered the poison. In short, nothing so far has been shown which would lead any reasonable person to conclude a case against the Russian state was proven.
I believe this following is the government narrative currently. I hope I am not mistating it:
Russia has a decade long secret programme of producing and stockpiling novichok nerve agents. It also has been training agents in secret assassination techniques, and British intelligence has a copy of the Russian training manual, which includes instruction on painting nerve agent on doorknobs. The Russians chose to use this assassination programme to target Sergei Skripal, a double agent who had been released from jail in Russia some eight years previously.
Only the Russians can make novichok and only the Russians had a motive to attack the Skripals.
The Russians had been tapping the phone of Yulia Skripal. They decided to attack Sergei Skripal while his daughter was visiting from Moscow. Their trained assassin(s) painted a novichok on the doorknob of the Skripal house in the suburbs of Salisbury. Either before or after the attack, they entered a public place in the centre of Salisbury and left a sealed container of the novichok there.
The Skripals both touched the doorknob and both functioned perfectly normally for at least five hours, even able to eat and drink heartily. Then they were simultaneously and instantaneously struck down by the nerve agent, at a spot in the city centre coincidentally close to where the assassins left a sealed container of the novichok lying around. Even though the nerve agent was eight times more deadly than Sarin or VX, it did not kill the Skripals because it had been on the doorknob and affected by rain.
Detective Sergeant Bailey attended the Skripal house and was also poisoned by the doorknb, but more lightly. None of the other police who attended the house were affected.
Four months later, Charlie Rowley and Dawn Sturgess were rooting about in public parks, possibly looking for cigarette butts, and accidentally came into contact with the sealed container of a novichok. They were poisoned and Dawn Sturgess subsequently died.
I am going to leave you to mull over that story yourselves for a while. I believe it is a fair statement of the British government narrative. I also believe almost (but not quite) every single sentence is very obviously untrue. I hope tomorrow to publish a detailed analysis explaining why that is, but want you to look at it yourselves first.
One final thought. I trust that Dawn Sturgess will get a proper and full public inquest in accordance with normal legal process, something which was denied to David Kelly. I suspect that is something the government will seek to delay as long as possible, even indefinitely.
In most cases the evidence brings you to the culprits , in others you point the culprits and then miraculously find the evidence to validate your claim .
What is blatant is that if the authorities really thought there was novichok going around the streets of Amesbury they would be actively looking for the people who applied it and they’re not . They’re also not investigating the more probable source from where it came from , Porton Down. they also continue to tell people the risk is low .
despite the Skripal case , police in normal clothing were hanging outside of Rowley’s house for days . Now , pollen analysis may show Russian pólen … after 4 months of rain , snow and sun .

That DailyMail article headline is misleading.
“Pollen on bottle which contained Novichok that killed mother ‘could prove it was used by Russian agents in attack on former double agent and his daughter”
The way it is written makes it sound as if pollen has actually been found. But it has not (yet, anyway).
New headline today in The Sun: https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/uknews/6782101/salisbury-poisoning-novichok-amesbury-victim-charlie-rowley-first-words-dawn-sturgess/
“His brother Matthew told The Mirror how he barely recognised his sibling when he visited him in hospital, calling him “skin and bones”.
He said: “He was semi-woken and said ‘they killed my girlfriend, they killed my girlfriend’. He was very angry and crying.”
Previously, the police were stating that this was not a targeted attack. If this report is true, then this strongly suggets a murder.
If these notes are seen as ramblings, please excuse them but as nothing at all about the two incidents of alleged poisoning in Salisbury have been confirmed, I’d like to think that the following has sufficient merit to be at least mentioned. Please rubbish at your will – lots of suggestions here are ‘maybe’. Let us assume, as many have, that the Skripals were poisoned and found in a park in a poor physical state. It would seem to me that they have been targeted (doh), maybe just Dad, but daughter was a convenient inconvenience helping to sow doubt in the minds of investigators. We won’t know the motive. Dad had lived in Salisbury for some time and despite his previous occupation and the accompanying handbook, he may well have dropped his guard and formed patterns in his behavior. He regularly visited a convenience store I believe. The same might be true of his eating habits. Whoever was targeting him would have conducted considerable reconnaissance on him. I don’t buy the smearing of the ‘poison’ on his door handle – too chancy. He’s an asset or a liability yes? – wouldn’t there be CCTV trained on his premises whatever his position? Very remiss if not the case. So being targeted, how was he got at? One correspondent here states that the concentration of the drug on at least one sufferer was on the right hand. So, under cover and hiding in plain sight, I would suggest the following. The recce’s showed that he used a particular restaurant, let’s assume Zizzi. Knowing this, the deputed Eastern European ‘agent’/operative obtains employment at the restaurant as a waiter. Far, far from unusual in the UK nowadays. So the agent, whilst waiting tables, smears the agent on THE condiment containers which WILL be (put) on the Skripal’s table. I visited Waggamas last Friday close by my home, a small metal condiments container sits on every table. There are a multitude of ways that the ‘agent’ can arrange for the tainted containers to be on the targeted table in question – I won’t bore you on that point. (Yes I will). In (an example) Wetherspoons, the condiment container is brought to your table by the waiter, arousing no suspicion whatever. At the end of the meal, the agent whisks the container away – permanently – and disposes. (He would know how). The right hand is usually used to add condiments to a meal. The police officer may have eaten with them but it should be noted that for a Detective Sergeant or a ‘tec senior to work on a Sunday, unless a pre-arranged operation is involved, is highly unusual. Sundays are ‘slow’ days in CID, and unless it’s a very pressing new allegation – when he could well be called out – most mundane ‘Sunday allegations’ can be put by until Monday morning unless the junior DC on duty can deal with it.. The cop could have been with the Skripals or he may not even have been on duty (or even there). Litvinyenko copped his (highly dangerous) drug via “green tea” I’m led to believe, and another ‘dodgy’ UK-based Russian died in Surrey recently due to poison soup. Food for thought I think.
You ought not to delay as public radio news in the US is already quoting people who take it for granted that Russia “attacked” the UK with chemical weapons.
We hear this on the radio as we drive to work in the morning, as if it were common knowledge.
The English government and their media organs failed in their anti Russia attempt with the Skripals.
To resurrect a narrative, what better than a Dawn and Charlie,
Right out of the dark state, for sure.
Regards.
I wouldn’t put anything past the English state .
??
If the perfume bottle is for real – then it was Yulia – not Sergei who was the target. Start from that point and things make a lot more sense…
Why does the perfume bottle being real mean that Yulia was the target?
So there you have it, nobody is guilty of this attack as there is not enough evidence to prove it.
Well done Craig you have come up with nothing at all other than speculation that Dawn Sturgess was poisoned by the UK state, based on the fact that the only people able to convict your suspect(s) is the same organisation that perpetrated it.
