Lysias, Craig Murray has tweeted robustly in Scott Ritter’s defence. Craig tweeted:

“Scott Ritter is a friend of mine. I want to take head-on the “convicted sex offender” and “paedophile” narrative.
If he were a paedophile I would not be his friend.
There was absolutely no contact with any minor – in person or online and there were absolutely no images of children or other paedophile material viewed.
After blowing the whistle on the Iraqi WMD lies of the US and UK govts, and resigning as a UN Weapons Inspector and from the US Marines, Scott was the victim of an undercover sting operation against him.
On a fantasy roleplay website, a male officer played the role of a schoolgirl in online chat with Scott. That was the “offence”.
Scott is adamant the website was adults only with proof of age requirement and he knew he was not conversing with an actual schoolgirl. Under the coercive US legal system, he took a plea bargain.
If those in power were subjected to the same levels of scrutiny and harassment as dissidents, far, far worse would be revealed.
Ghislaine Maxwell is still in jail for trafficking actual minors to persons whose identities the state conspires to conceal.”

Kamala Harris show her true colors again, during a speech yesterday, she shut down pro-Palestinian protests during her speech trying to stick …Donald Trump onto her OWN voting base! Instead of adressing the obvious concerns by the protesters that she, if elected, will lead a nation that aid and abet the child mass murdering regime of Israel.
        This woman is a nutjob.

Is the “deep-state”/neocon/zionists trying to trigger/preparing the ground for a war with Iran if Trump gets elected?

Some weeks ago US spread the claim that Iran had plots to kill Trump – no proof was presented, and the other day FBI hysterically spread the claim that a pakistani, with, “iranian” ties, had been arrested for allegedly plot to kill Trump. Only problem was that it was a made up entrapment/sting case. There was no “iranian” connection, it was the FBI themselves that manufactured the murder-plot.
Pakistani man with ties to Iran is charged in plot to carry out political assassinations on US soil
              https://apnews.com/article/iran-pakistan-murderforhire-trump-justice-department-5a3abe0895ae7c2be14f89fc4e49bc53
What was the connection one might ask, the pakistani had visited/lived in Iran. Note that Iran and Pakistan are neighbours, I hope FBI do not believe every iranians/pakistanis going in out on that Iran/Pakistan border is plotting murder schemes sigh.
Well if there is no murder-plots I guess you simply have to invent one.

How Israel Became a Nuclear Power
                By Emma Claire Foley

Israel’s nuclear program is its worst-kept secret. It was made possible through the support of Western nations like France and has thrived due to a cynical attitude toward nonproliferation that has made the world more dangerous.

Adding to how Israel became a nuclear power…

                  Apollo affair

The Apollo affair or NUMEC affair was a 1965 incident in which a US company, NUMEC, in the Pittsburgh suburbs of Apollo and Parks Township, Pennsylvania was investigated for losing 200–600 pounds (91–272 kg) of highly enriched uranium, with suspicions that it had gone to Israel’s nuclear weapons program.

                  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_affair

                  Or

                  Operation Plumbat

Operation Plumbat is an alleged Israeli covert operation in 1968 to obtain yellowcake (processed uranium ore) to support the Israeli nuclear weapons effort.[1]
France stopped supplying Israel with uranium fuel for the Dimona nuclear reactor after the 1967 Arab-Israeli War. Numerous sources believe that in 1968 Israel managed to obtain 200 tonnes of yellowcake from the Belgian mining company Union Minière, shipped processed uranium mined in Congo out of Antwerp to Genoa for a European front company by transferring the ore to another vessel at sea. This Mossad covert operation violated Euratom controls of nuclear materials

                  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Plumbat

Israel always beg and demand aid, help but have no problem stabbing the west in the back. God knows what plots, schemes the siraelis are up to in western societies…

This is just parody by now:

State Department Won’t Call Israeli Rape of Palestinian Prisoners a War Crime
‘I’m not a legal expert,’ said State Department spokesman Vedant Patel when asked if rape was a war crime

If you could defend rape in war, one wonder if these sickos think of rape in the streets. Is that also “ok”, after all, the spokesman is “no expert” so how would he know right? Sigh…

Another attack on Lebanon some hours ago, what will it take before the arab world rise up against Israel?
Yes there is western influence, corruption but is there no anger brewing in the background in the arab regimes, in the bureacracy, in the military, intelligence sectors? Are the arab world not realizing how humiliated and ridiculed they become to the world when Israel freely murder their own kind day in day out? What is so absurd is that they cannot hardly even vocally condemn Israel anymore.

Only Saudiarabia itself, excluding the other 20+ arab states spend almost 3times as much as Israel on the military:
                        Israel 27.5 billion
                        Saudiarabia 75.5 billion

Disgusting to see how the only thing US apparently cares about is the israeli “hostages” in Gaza, not the 50000 killed palestinians, not the hundreds of thousands palestinians hurt, deliberately, by Israel, not the thousands of palestinians in israeli jails, hold without any charge.

Blinken heads to Israel for 9th time since Oct. 7, hoping to close hostage-truce deal
Biden says Gaza deal closer than ever after two days of Doha talks not attended by Hamas; terror group politburo claims signs of progress ‘an illusion,’ decries ‘American diktats’

This really proves that palestinian life is not woth a dime for these callous people. Or as late Rabbi Yaacov Perrin said some decades ago: “One million Arabs are not worth a Jewish fingernail,” in his eulogy of jewish racist massmurderer Dr. Baruch Goldstein

Top coal supplier bans exports to Israel
Colombia took the step to pressure West Jerusalem into ceasing the hostilities in Gaza

The South American nation is Israel’s largest fossil fuel supplier, with trade amounting to $450 million in 2023. The Colombian Miners Association had warned against the move, which was first announced in June, pointing to the trade agreement between Bogota and West Jerusalem, as well as opposition from coal producers.

                              https://swentr.site/business/602777-colombia-bans-coal-supply-to/

Why did it not come earlier though? At the same time, Colombia is one the nations that have condemned Israel from the start.

Have not Brazil/Lula been quite silent during this genocide? I know he condemned Israel every now and then, but what then? Brazil is a big nation and should use their power by every means to pressure Israel.

German “Constitutional Blog” has a collection of English-language legal essays on:

“Never Again: The Holocaust, Trauma and Its Effect on Constitutional and International Law

Constitutions are shaped by historical narratives and collective memories. Historical traumas affect national and international laws and policies. The fears, anxieties, and aspirations of subsequent generations of both perpetrator and victim groups play a role in forming social and political perceptions of what a just and fair order requires. This blog symposium focuses on the constitutional and legal commitments, orientations, and arguments that the trauma of WWII and the Holocaust have given rise to and how they have changed over time.

As you raised the other day, will Kamala Harris keep holding a pro-Israel view and thus ignore the chance of thousands of extra votes she could recieve in the election?

Democratic Convention protesters to Harris: Israel arms embargo or no vote
Thousands gather at the Chicago convention to call for a ceasefire in Gaza and an end to US weapons transfers to Israel.

I never expected the Democrats in 2024, would bend over backwards over to support a genocidal regime especially considering some 48% of americans think what Israel do is wrong, imagine if Kamala took a real stance here, for peeace. She would have secured the presidential election without a doubt in my understanding:

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Americans continue to be more likely to oppose than support Israel’s military action in Gaza, but public backing has increased slightly since Gallup’s prior reading in March. The 42% of U.S. adults who currently approve of the military campaign is up six percentage points, while the 48% who now disapprove is down seven points.

..at the same time the support for Netanyahu seems to go up in the US.

Pathetic, I assume the arrest warrant will be dropped sooner or later. Killing 50000 people including some 15000 children is apparently not enough for the ICC to issue an arrest warrant, meanwhile Putinw as instantly wanted by the ICC court when russian state authority moved ukrainian children from the battle-zone to Russia.

Prosecutor’s request for Netanyahu warrant still pending at international court

But while it is correct that the ICC’s prosecutor has applied for an arrest warrant for Netanyahu, this is not the same as a warrant being issued, as the court’s judges must make a final decision on the request, an ICC spokesperson told Reuters via email.

                                    https://www.reuters.com/fact-check/prosecutors-request-netanyahu-warrant-still-pending-international-court-2024-08-14/

ICC issue arrest warrant against Putin

The court has issued arrest warrants for the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, and Russia’s commissioner for children’s rights, Maria Alekseyevna Lvova-Belova, in relation to the forced deportation of children from Ukraine to Russia, where many have been adopted by Russian families.

                                    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/mar/17/icc-arrest-warrant-vladimir-putin-explainer

One can only imagine the behind-the-scenes lobbying and pressuring against the ICC by US/EU/Israel but ICC must of course stand above that or are they that corrupt perhaps? Despicable.

Unfortunately by now I simply don´t even trust Gallup.

As Walter Kirn correctly said during the RNC – the reporting has become meaningless for questions of truth. Same for polls. He argued that Biden´s ratings were high just when suddenly he resigned from the race with the argument he had no chance.

“News” are there to fill the airwaves and simulate news. To quote the book title “the medium is the message” – literally.

You can see this flattening with RU and WMDs. It doesn´t matter any more what is at stake. Be it a marriage ceremony by two monkeys or WWIII. It´s treated in the same way meaning neither is actually reported. It´s turned into a rumour, urban legend, soap-operas of lies.

So may be those numbers re: Gaza have changed. May be not. May be the difference has rather grown. We won´t know for sure.

Disgusting to see western media, politicians hail Kamala Harris like she is some type of hero, while she openly not only support but are the enabler the genocide in Gaza. During her headline speech at the DNC convention the other day, she could not even single out Israel senseless killing, let alone she ignore the thousands of pro-palestinian protesters, most likely her OWN voting base, still she threw the american youth under the bus. She picked genocide of another state instead. What a horrible woman:

Here is what she said regarding Israel/Gaza/Iran:

With respect to the war in Gaza. President Biden and I are working around the
clock. Because now is the time to get a hostage deal and ceasefire done.
Let me be clear: I will always stand up for Israel’s right to defend itself and I will
always ensure Israel has the ability to defend itself. Because the people of Israel
must never again face the horror that the terrorist organization Hamas caused on
October 7th. Including unspeakable sexual violence and the massacre of young
                                            people at a music festival.
At the same time, what has happened in Gaza over the past 10 months is
devastating. So many innocent lives lost. Desperate, hungry people fleeing for
safety, over and over again. The scale of suffering is heartbreaking.
President Biden and I are working to end this war such that Israel is secure, the
hostages are released, the suffering in Gaza ends, and the Palestinian people can
realize their right to dignity. Security. Freedom. And self-determination.
And know this: I will never hesitate to take whatever action is necessary to defend
our forces and our interests against Iran and Iran-backed terrorists.

…and *surprise surprise* look who wrote her speech:

He’s writing Kamala Harris’ DNC speech. He also wrote a book on Holocaust survivors
Adam Frankel, whose grandparents survived the Nazis, is lead writer for Harris’ acceptance speech

Turkiye that claim to be for Palestine could start, if they are serious, by barring western tourists coming to their country:

German tourists lead with over 1m arrivals in Turkiye last month, followed by Russia and UK

Quite an odd report by Amnesty just released (https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/2024/08/israel-opt-israeli-attacks-targeting-hamas-and-other-armed-group-fighters-that-killed-scores-of-displaced-civilians-in-rafah-should-be-investigated-as-war-crimes/) that mere accuse Israel of war crimes when they attack refugee camps in Gaza, impyling in the report that in fact palestinians themselves are to be equally blamed:

Hamas and Islamic Jihad fighters were located in the IDP camp, a location which displaced people believed was a designated “humanitarian zone,” knowingly endangering the lives of civilians. Their choice of location in both IDP camps likely violated the obligation to avoid, to the extent feasible, locating fighters in densely populated areas. Amnesty International has no information regarding the reason or motivations for their presence, but all parties to the conflict should have taken all feasible precautions to protect civilians and civilian objects.

                                                https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/2024/08/israel-opt-israeli-attacks-targeting-hamas-and-other-armed-group-fighters-that-killed-scores-of-displaced-civilians-in-rafah-should-be-investigated-as-war-crimes/
Say what? I know as much as international law clearly forbid striking civilian targets like this. Even if a Hamas affiliate were inside the camp – especially since they are not shooting rockets etc at Israel to begin with. Israel have zero right to target this civilian target – one wonder why Amnesty is not clear cut on this fact?

This is also and odd framing:

“The Israeli military would have been fully aware that the use of bombs that project deadly shrapnel across hundreds of metres and unguided tank shells would kill and injure a large number of civilians sheltering in overcrowded settings lacking protection. The military could and should have taken all feasible precautions to avoid, or at least minimise, harm to civilians.

Atleast? They should not target civilian targets themselves!

                                                Also a very weird phrasing:

“All parties to the conflict must take all feasible precautions to protect civilians. This also includes the obligation of Hamas and other armed groups to avoid, to the extent feasible, locating military objectives and fighters in or near densely populated areas.”

Easy to say when Gaza is the most populated area in the world. What are palestinian fighters suppose to to? Stand in the very open so Israel could kill them easier?!

German state TV ARD (=BBC) made a survey on Gaza and how the audience views ARD´s own reporting:

                                                  “(…)
The result: 40 per cent of all respondents have a great deal or a lot of trust in German reporting on the war in Gaza and Israel. But 48 per cent, almost one in two, have little or no trust.
                                                  (…)
ARD editor-in-chief Oliver Köhr finds the figures alarming
                                                  (…)
the fact that almost a third of the respondents identify an Israeli bias is a high and unusual figure.
                                                  (…)
In the 15 talk shows on ARD that dealt with the war, there were three guests with a Palestinian background. Significantly more, namely ten guests, had Israeli citizenship. When asked why there was such an imbalance in the talk shows, ARD editor-in-chief Oliver Köhr replied: ‘Actually, I can’t imagine that. (…) Another accusation levelled by critics of German reporting on the Middle East is that narratives from the Israeli government or army, some of which are far-right, are repeatedly adopted unquestioningly in the German media. There are indeed examples of this – in newspapers, in online media and also in the news programme Tagesschau (the major news show).”
                                                  (…)”

These numbers are from the official news source.
So reality is much more in its disfavour.
Since many people couldn´t answer because they don´t watch ARD in the first place.
And many more would decline to answer because they´re fed up (It´s like polling numbers in the US and Trump voters not answering which artifically lowers GOP vote until election day.).
And naturally the spot highlighted in the survey is tiny.
Nothing about the entirety of the media bias and the genocidal mindset of academia, pundits and guilded commentariat in the press.
Of course the senior editors view the audience critical as the anomaly instead of themselves.

Has there been any further development with the ICC directives made against Israel a couple of months ago? Clearly there has been no compliance and with the further escalation of hostilities in Lebanon and Iran plus the discovery of poliomyelitis in the Gaza Strip – surely it’s time for the UN Security Council to mandate a peacekeeping force to document & prevent more atrocities.
