In other news, just in the West Bank alone almost 9000 palestinians have been caught by Israel that should not be called nothing but hostage-taking. But how much do media, politicians in the west ever write about these hostages? Never of course. Meanwhile their focus is on a dozen israeli hostages in Gaza, hostages that the isrraeli regime do not care for anyway. Apparently 10 israeli hostages is more valuable than 9000 palestinians considering how much focus they get.

Unfortunately the government of Lebanon act incredibly slow, passively, when Israel threatened and also attacked UN peace keeping forces they should have lodged complaints and called upon the UNSC to deal with this obvious threat against the peace. I have a great deal of time for what Jonathan Cook has to write on Palestine. His latest blog piece highlights the weapons grade hypocrisy with regards the politics associated with the Israeli hostages held in Gaza.
