A disturbing episode of Crimewatch aired this morning: the police are still looking for people who took part in the Southport riots of August 2024. This is mysterious. More than 1,200 people took part in those riots, and the riots were the first since 2011. How could 1,200 people suddenly turn into criminals, all on the one night, after 13 years during which they were law-abiding citizens?
Crime has causes, and the causes of the Southport riots lie indisputably with Starmer’s hatred and contempt for anyone who doesn’t like his economics. Starmer also thinks he has the solution: stamp out riots, because we all know that suppressing the symptoms cures the disease. Government by consent. Aye, right.
