      Completely agree AG

The initiation of this conflict is Biden and Obama and Nuland, trying to split Ukraine away from Russia.
They were never interested in Ukraine, they were interested in splitting Ukraine from Russia, then in breaking up Russia, in to smaller fragments, then in releasing the spoils of break-up.
30% of the Worlds tradable commodoties, lie in Russia.

Yeah, but tell that your local newspaper. Or worse, say it on stage in public. You can bring up 1000 pieces of evidence. They still gonna excommunicate you.
(When Nicolai Petro articulated some hard true facts at a closed VIP panel for some banksters, he caused a scandal, it even made it into the FINANCIAL TIMES. The delusion is “magnificent”. I´ll never get over it.)

Western media/politicians attitude regarding Slovakian PM being shot is so gross, they try to justify it because of his peaceful stance on Ukraine.

UK’s Sky News accused of ‘justifying’ Fico shooting
The outlet has been called out for saying the attempted assassination of Slovakia’s “pro-Russian” PM was “not surprising”

Fico shooter protested suspension of Ukraine military aid – Slovak interior minister
          https://swentr.site/news/597727-fico-shooter-protest-suspension-ukraine-aid/

Allegedly, the wife/partner of the pepetrator is ukrainian.
Imagine if this was the other way around, that a pro-ukrainian head of state were shot. The blame and coverage would be totally on Russia, that they ordered it.

Yes Jack, as you suggest if it had been the other way round, the press would be relentless.
Soon after the shooting of Fico, they wrote the name of the man, claimed to be “Lone Wolf” , now even though he is charged, they seem to no longer know his name?

Good text by peace activist David Swanson on some contradictions surrounding NATO vs. the UN and the true purpose of WMDs in EU.
                Including useful hyperlinks.

(I only find the last paragraph on nuclear energy unnecessary.)

                https://scheerpost.com/2024/05/17/nato-spreads-nuclear-weapons-energy-and-risk/

“keeping U.S. nuclear weapons in Europe seems to fail even by the usual standards of deterrence theory, since their most likely use would be in an unlikely secret attack. Some U.S. officials believe those nuclear bombs serve no “military purpose” but only a “political” one, to reassure the host countries that the U.S. government cares about them.

The argument has also been made that, since Russia would like the nuclear bombs removed from Europe, the U.S. should either keep them there or demand something huge from Russia in exchange for removing them. Another argument is that this is part of making European nations share the burden, along the lines of making them spend more money on weapons. But if the burden serves no purpose, why should anyone share it? European government officials know the bombs are not useful as bombs. They know the bombs are provocative toward Russia. They know, in fact, that Russia is using the U.S. storage of nuclear bombs in European nations as an excuse to put Russian nuclear weapons into Belarus. So a more realistic understanding of the “political” purpose of U.S. nukes in Europe is probably a combination of the idea that the U.S. military will fight for any nation in which it has stored nukes, the perverse prestige that many imagine comes with possessing nukes (even if someone else actually possesses them on your land), and the general U.S. goals of keeping European governments intertwined with the U.S. military, supportive of U.S. military strategies, and willing to spend vast amounts on U.S.-made weapons.”

Today in our news, a guy from American intelligence, Mike Turner, is calling on the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, to give his highest permission to Ukraine to hit Russian territory with American weapons.
The dude probably has very little to do with intelligence, since Ukraine has been attacking Russian territories for a LONG TIME ALREADY. The border city of Belgorod is suffering the most, and civilians are dying there. There have been strikes on the central square yesterday and today about 20 strikes are reported.

Also in the news, another US foreign affairs dude, Mike McCaul, shows Congress a map of where he proposes to strike with ATACMS missiles. In the article there is a picture of him standing next to the map.
I don’t expect that most readers are strong in Russian Geography, so I’ll explain – his index finger points to Crimea, and my city Krasnodar is a red dot between his index and middle fingers (I hope that karma exists and one day he will put them in a kitchen chopper or a circular saw)

                              On the Georgia threat story:

What I don´t get, why should Olivér Várhelyi, apparently the EU-Commissioner in question, express these threats, considering that he is regarded close to Hungarian PM Orbán.
Is it possible that he in fact warned him?
In any case that would not change a thing about the EU being a rogue actor in the best genocidal traditions of the age of colonialism.

Luckily Russia have initiated a process to confiscate US assets, this move comes very late from Russia.
Hopefully they will go after EU also.

Putin lays groundwork for confiscation of US assets
A roadmap has been prepared in anticipation of possible misappropriation of Russian state funds by Washington
                                          https://swentr.site/russia/598115-russia-putin-us-property-confiscation/

This move should have been done months ago. It seems that Russia is indeed very top-down society or too few people working at the top because it takes time before there is a reaction when Russia deal with the west and that does not benefit Russia’s resolve. I.e often times when west have kicked out Russian diplomats from the west, there could go months before Russia respond with the same measure.

I see this tardiness very clearly on the battlefield in Ukraine too, where Russia quite often seems unprepared/passive.
As I have said before I think it is mind boggling that Russia have not taken out the railway infrastructure/hub carrying heavy arms to the eastern Ukraine for the Ukrainian troops, arms that are used in part to, kill civilians in Russia proper. Military intelligence bureaus seems to lacking the competence too to foresee, stop Ukrainian movements.
I also recognize of course that Russia have a long border which makes it hard to defend, but again all these obvious facts should have been taken in regard before the invasion because Russia have obviously failed to protect Bryansk and other regions.

ET and AG, I’m in a tired and grumpy mood today.
It’s a windy day, and the rowan tree near my house broke. A huge branch hangs over the sidewalk and can be dangerous for passersby. It could fall at any moment. I called the dispatcher of the house management company, only to find out that today was a day off and they could do nothing except share the service numbers with me!
Isn’t it the dispatcher’s job to pass requests on to those in charge?
These people don’t want to do their job at all, and are constantly trying to put it on my shoulders! I’m taking orders today and running around as (Russian obscene idiom here)!!!
I work from early morning until late evening, and people around me constantly have reasons to take time off. Either they have birthdays, then the last day of school, today is Saturday, tomorrow is Sunday, then they come up with summer vacations…
So I’m sorry, but you hit the moment of my bad mood 🙂

Write an open letter to Putin somewhere on Facebook. Let’s look at Western freedom of speech and media independence working in real time.

This is something that really bothers me with sites like mediazona: They call themselves independent.

But if you are genuinely an independent source you do not – as mediazona does – report solely about RU war casualties. Instead you should do the same regarding the other side.

If you wanna look at it:

                                              54,000 RU casualties, they say:
                                              https://en.zona.media/article/2022/05/20/casualties_eng

The time and effort invested into such online designs are so immense – as is with many Ukrainian, anti-RU outlets – top notch and fancy – that you can’t but call it an obsession. An aesthetic “overkill” which hardly veils the deep hatred and contempt which is behind all this. The glitter and tinsel are supposed to hide the very unflattering dark and ugly emotions behind these projects.

I have no problem with that darkness and hate. But I suggest, then, just admit it. And don’t try to wrap it into a beautiful pink parcel which in fact is carrying the venom. Because that´s just cowardly and utterly false.

And don’t act as if there were zero Ukrainians dead. That´s just sick.

I then prefer the not very pretty outside appearance of RT or – probably a more professional source – the really old style RU MoD’s site. They of course speak about the Ukrainians only; fair enough, but at least without this insane, euphemistic design effort.

Oh, and of course I must use TOR for RT.

Since we are such a fucking open society, just as Soros’s organisation is labeled: “Open Society Foundation”. Well, if you are looking for Orwellian hypocrisy no need to look further. (Think “Pravda” in the old days or “democracy dies in darkness”, as the WaPo seriously has it on its front page for some time now.)

“Kiev has lost over 111,000 troops this year – Moscow”, they say at RT:

This is not a fun show but as the public is concerned, necessary:

Daniel Davis in a conversation with nuclear physicist Ted Postol, 75 min.
“A Very ‘Limited’ Nuclear Attack? MIT Professor Ted Postol explains”

(I personally don´t believe that RU would activate “escalate to deescalate” because once NATO would end up in an upper hand situation threatening Russia existentially, NATO would do so fully aware of what that means in terms of terminal nuclear war. And RU would know this. So why drop a 1 kt bomb? NATO would laugh that away. / Regarding the Poseidon nuclear device – I think as far as anything is confirmed its yield is more a 9Mt device. Not a 100Mt. Which is bad enough. Whether a 100Mt device would fit is a different question. I assume Postol describes that scenario to scare people even more. / And it goes without saying that I completely disagree on any necessity for Hiroshima/Nagasaki. Not only with the benefit of hindsight but regarding intelligence in that very year. It was intended to make a strategic statement to the rest of the world. The Japanese had already agreed to negotiate. A fact that was kept from the Los Alamos group as well as they had been kept in the dark about the failure of the German nuclear program long before Trinity. The argument to not tell them about latter was not fear of Japan but the decision to establish a new global order built on the WMD monopoly, obviously.)

I thought I could take your apology and carry it all 1500 kilometers, from my city to Moscow, if you agree to return the favor. Can you please take this Wiki link and bring it to Boris Johnson?

                                                  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Sun_(symbol)

“The Black Sun .. symbol originating in Nazi Germany and later employed by neo-Nazis and other far-right individuals and groups. The symbol’s design consists of twelve radial sig runes, similar to the symbols employed by the SS in their logo. It first appeared in Nazi Germany as a design element in a castle at Wewelsburg remodeled and expanded by the head of the SS, Heinrich Himmler, which he intended to be a center for the SS.”

It seems to me that the guy is a little stupid, so it might be worth teaching him what’s the meaning of the symbol on the Azov flag, with which Boris so proudly poses for the camera.

Perhaps Boris could pay a visit to the Hitler Jugend Summer Camp (the Ukrainian version) this year?

I mean this is ridiculous…look at around 9:30 and forward, no nazis here the leadership say… then the camera zoom into a “White Pride” tatoo, another guy having swastika tattoo and a then tomtemkopf nazi skull tattoo.

..and then they claim that the whole claim of nazis in Ukraine is “russian disinformation”!? Sigh, the word useful idiot do not cover the western stance on this and other extremist ukrainian organizations.
You could bet of course if Putin posed with nazis like Boris did here it would be all over the western media!

Another video of this creepy hate camps for children in Ukraine:

This brainwashing is what the laid the ground for the hatred of not only Russia but russians themselves. So many ukrainian youth brainwashed. Senseless!

The more you dig into the ukrainian society the more wicked things you will find, I looked into the nazi claim awhile ago and was baffled how accepted these views, sentiment are in the ukrainian society. So many groups, so many marches/demonstrations or take the tons of statues of fascist/nazi collaborators erected in Ukraine, especially since the coup of 2013.

                                                    Nazi collaborator monuments in Ukraine
Many new streets and monuments have been erected since a new government took over in 2014

Jack, one more thing to show to Boris. Here are Azov guys surrendering in Mariupol

Your ex-PM may like their collection of tattoos and maybe choses his favourite one. One wonders what is more to his taste? Hitler, swastika, ‘kill them’ sign? Will Boris prefer Baphomet tattoo of satanism? Or, 1488 ciphers – little sign, may easily pass unnoticed, as here in the video, it’s tattoed on the face of an Ukrainian “defender”.

*1488 is a code for Nazis and White Supremacists. It de-codes into the phrase ‘We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children. Because the beauty of the White Aryan woman must not perish from the earth’.
Very much in line with the Black Sun, which means ‘White Power’.
