Since I am not as tech-savvy as you are I don´t yet know about that translation thing.
I use a couple of browsers among them Yandex but without such plug-in. I have to find a solution for that now.p.s. Attention: the guy Maté talks to from TIME is insane. This is the reason why we are well marching into a certain direction. And Maté fails us there. The guy however gets worse on Halpers questions.

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili met with opposition leaders on Saturday and made a statement to the protesters. She said that despite the expiration of her term, she doesn’t intend to leave the presidency, as she considers the current composition of parliament illegitimate!

I am worried that Trump may fail to stop the proxy war against Russia.
On October 21 earlier this year, when Israel was about to strike Iran, Russia flew a Tu-214PU Command-and-Control aircraft around Israel’s likely targets in Iran, with its transponder on so that all the world would know. According to various reports, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister and various Russian cabinet ministers were on board. Russia thereby sent a very clear message to Israel and the US; “Iran is under Russian protection”.
But Trump hates Iran; he was itching to start an all out war against Iran in his last term of office. And of course he loves Israel, and especially Netanyahu. So I think that, in his negotiations with Russia, he may make removal of Russian protection of Iran the price of a Ukrainian ceasefire against Russia.
How the Russian government may respond to that is another matter of course. A good outcome could be that when Trump visits Russia for negotiations, the Russian government introduces him to Russian experts who explain and show him evidence about US State Department / CIA collusion with the Gulf Monarchies, and how for decades Saudi-backed ‘Jihadists’ have been sent to attack and destabilise Russia and its allies. This could possibly cause Trump to change his mind, but he is very close to Netanyahu.
Trump certainly looks like a jack-in-the-box, as if he appeared from the outside, and he seems to be opposing other political clans. But it seems to me that he is the same protégé of global financial capital as his predecessors.
He recently wrote a threatening warning on Twitter about the possible creation of a BRICS currency and the abandonment of the dollar.

He didn’t go as far as acknowledging/conceding that the West/Nato provoked Russia/Putin into taking military action of course, and that THEY are in effect responsible for the hundreds of thousands (of mainly military personnel) who have been killed and maimed, and the millions who have been displaced etc, etc, etc. And the vast majority of the public in the UK and Western nations still don’t know about all the warnings by politicians and foreign policy experts during the past twenty-five years or more about the likely outcome of expanding Nato eastwards. It would be great if groups of people all over the country (and other countries) did something like this in respect of the warnings (and also about the fact that only one baby was killed on October 7th, and accidentally so):

I don’t suppose any ‘forcing’ would be necessary, and the war-mongering nutters are just itching to start World War 3.
I don’t think Ukraine or the USA intend the offer (to give up land but join NATO) to end the war is serious. Russia has been quite clear for many years that NATO espansion East is unacceptable. Russia will never agree to this, and both the USA and Ukraine know it. It seems to be to be a ploy whereby USA and Ukraine can say “Look how unreasonable Russia is, we offered to compromise and give up land, but Russia refused!”.
64% of Ukrainians want peace negotiations to start. Blinken knows that but is demanding that 18 year old kids now be sent to the frontlines. Washington and London are Ukraine’s worst enemies. It’s never been more obvious.

I remember quite perfectly my excitement and fear back in December 2021, when Russia turned to NATO with some draft treaties and demanded to give us a guarantee that NATO activity in Ukraine isn’t pointed at Russia’s security. This moment I remember because I tried to drive Mr Murray’s attention to the development.
Then, it became clear that Ukraine intentionally sabotage the Minsk agreement.
Our representative Kozak made an interview after the last round of the negotiations.
He said: “I don’t know how to proceed. This time they (*Ukrainians) pretended that they don’t understand the meaning of the word (*in the text of the agreement), so we had to bring Cambridge Dictionary to show them.”

For me, the most painful pain was Etsy. I’m a handmaker and I’ve been on Etsy since about 2010. Lots of friends among fellow artisans and customers. And most of them stopped their friendship, just turned silent on Etsy, and Facebook, and Instagram.
Well, most, but not all. One of those friends contacted me via e-mail, asking what is going on on our side. I said that here the conflict is seen as Russia-NATO, also it’s clear that ‘the West’ is going to present it as Russia-Ukraine war. She answered it’s a well-known technique in their media and even used a special word for it. Sorry I don’t remember it exactly, it was something like ‘spin-off’ or sort of.I was told recently at universities in Europe professors force Russian PhDs to break off their studies and do NOT let them finish. The Russians have to leave the country eventually.
